Solo travelers United States of America, April 10, 2013	very peaceful and close to great diving peaceful, food, diving 8 The rooms are a bit bare (no aircon, hot water) but the patio view is superb. Personnel is very friendly, and the dive shop attached to the hotel sits minutes away from several wrecks. Internet was painfully slow, but this may change in the next months.
Jay W. Couples United States of America, February 15, 2013	Beautiful Views/Poor Performance Very good diving experience, especially for wreck and specialty divers. The views are spectacular 3.7 This hotel looks good. It's built on a hillside overlooking Pearl Bay with it's spectacular vistas. The dive shop is overpriced, even higher than here in Los Angeles but it is a good/professional shop with services from beginner to top level specialty diver. For your hotel experience expect no phone service whatsoever, no TV, no air-conditioning (available in one cottage only), no hair drier, periods of no hot water or water at all (had three morning of no water followed by liquid mud that took an hour of running water to clear), frequent electrical outages but the back up generator worked fairly quickly, no room service. Reception is closed at 5PM (no services at all after that expect dining) unless the hotel is "full enough" to warrant additional staff staying until eight PM. The bathroom room is not connected to the walls, romantic design, nightmare for use. The open influx of hot air made that room a sauna virtually all the time and every bug and insect found a home there. We had one large and several smaller lizard residents in the ceiling joists made of bamboo. Each of them would defecate on the bath and shower floor every day and never when housekeep was around. It was another unwelcome addition to our experience. The hillside location necessitates the negotiation of approx 100 steps top to bottom, an exhausting experience for all but the most fit and no fun after a meal. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best, the restaurant was a 4. Service was the worse ever in my life. I waited 55 mins for a sandwich and 52 mins for the "Special of the day." Drink preparation took as long as 15 mins at times and that was with a nearly empty restaurant. The staff are obviously untrained and though they try hard they simply do not know their jobs. There appears to be one "manager" who is lovely and tries hard but probably has no real authority and thus the overall appalling quality of the guest experience. It's one hour to the nearest town by dirt road Travel tip: Best tip. Pay the price to stay in a really nice place. Personally check on every detail-especially those not mentioned in the information sections on line, never assume a service is included. Finally, the dive shop is overpriced but a good operation for all levels of diving.

Groups Finland, December 28, 2012	A Hidden paradise resort with great wreck diving Breathtaking views, quiet place 9.3 We spend christmas there and it is a perfect escape for some peace and quiet -while enjoying amazing wreckdiving in warm waters with very professional dive-facility.. The rooms are beautiful and perfect for couples or a family travelling with one child. Extra beds are not possible. Service is very friendly and welcoming- All in all a quiet, hidden paradise for lovers of natural beauty and/or wreck diving.
