Amazing pool, great beach, wonderful staff
The hotel has an amazing pool, they supply everything from beach towels to sand toys for the children and the staff are incredibly kind to kids.

The hotel was everything one might expect like from the photos. It was a wonderful place to come and relax. The beach was lovely and our kids spent hours playing in the waves and playing with the sand toys provided by the hotel. The pool is clearly the centerpiece and was wonderful as well. The hotel provided beach towels and pool toys for the the kids. The room was spotlessly clean, Due to the remote location internet and satelllite tv can be spotty, especially during and after storms. The breakfast provided was a huge buffet of international and Filipino cuisine. There should be something for everyone. The food prices are quite steep by Filipino standards. Overall, highly recommended.

Great place to get away from the city hustle and bustle. Location is great and the resort has ample spaces and not overcrowded/overbuilt. On the beach and with a marvelous pool you can alternate easily and yet be within reach of your room.
Hotel restaurant has decent food and sufficient variety. Yet there are other option within easy reach
Very relaxing stay and the staff is very accommodating. It is a new place and therefore they are still in training mode.
Areas for improvement: 1) Wifi (very poor availability and reliability) 2)room towels (this is not the guesthouse next door.... it is a higher end hotel) 3) restaurant service - more consistency accros staff and the timeliness/proactivity of most staff has to increase

Quiet and breathtakingly beautiful location with lush mountain views on the backdrop. The pools are fantastic for kids and the service is fast and friendly. The food is rather basic, but this location is about nature and relaxation. If you got asthma check your room (ceiling) as some of them are mouldy and will give you breathing difficulties.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The underground river tours start right next to the hotel, so even if the official tours are booked you can walk in and try to get a permit to visit. Also right outside the hotel you can have local massage and beauty services for almost free

The only one good option to stay in area of Sabang

my family and i stayed at the sheridan in january 2013 and had fantastic time. as we were travelling in high season it was quite difficult to find a good accommodation in the philippines. i telephoned to the resort one day before i wanted to come and was said that the hotel was fully booked. then i tried to book on agoda and was successfull, the system was saying that they were at least five rooms available to reserve, very strange..... nevertheless we booked for five nights for about usd per room per night including breakfast. the room we got was on the first floor with a pool view, there were a spacious bathroom and very comfortable bed, very nice balcony was facing the swimming pool. sheridan beach resort and spa is in very isolated area called sabang and it is very close to the underground river, there is also an option to visit a mangrove forest by a little bangka, we did both of these activities. we had a great time by sheridan´s swimming pool and the beach, there were never many people around us, as this place probably never gets overcrowded because it is a long way from everywhere. breakfast is good but the staff should be quicker as sometimes we found the plates empty. restaurant is very nice and offers good food for reasonable prices. we had to look for a medical help as my wife and my little daughter had serious stomag problems and the hotel service was just excellent. after visiting a reception asking for pills for stomag we were immediately visited by a hotel nurse. this man was very nice, very informative and really helpful. after giving us all medicaments he was staying with us until my wife got much better and came back to check us in the morning as well. he helped us very much also psychically, i have to thank sheridan´s staff for everything they did for us during our stay. i would definitely recommend sheridan to other travellers and would stay again.

We stayed 3 nights and loved every minute of it. The rooms were large and clean, furnishings were very modern, bed and pillows were comfortable. We loved the choice of swimming/relaxing in the huge pool or playing out on the beach with the waves. Food selection at the restaurant was pretty good with a variety of dishes to choose from, but it was a bit pricey. They also offer buffet lunch or dinner if you want something different from the menu. Breakfast buffet was included and was always very good. The staff were very friendly and always wore smiles. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
Hotel Feature Tip:
If you find that there are no lounge chairs available by the pool (as people always save them), just let the towel staff know and they will magically pull out and set up a lounge chair for you.

stayed for two nights. would have stayed longer. not a lot to do besides the pool (apart from the standard tours to underground river etc.) and the hotel overall is 4* rather than 5* but the pool is exceptional. wifi is patchy and not in room. fitness room is very basic. however, the beach location is excellent and overall it is an enjoyable and comfortable place to stay for a few days.
