Nice hotel, a little older though.

Just stayed here for one night, definitely an older hotel but the staff were still pleasant and didn't mind my friend and I having a few (very) late drinks on the grass area inside the hotel. Bed was just OK, aircon was a little noisy.

we spent 2 nights there and were very pleased by the staff. they were very helpfull and always with a big smile.
the rooms were simple but clean and with hot shower.
we liked having breakfast in the little garden.
however, the breakfast was kind of small.

i stayed for 2 days with my bookeeper. as soon as we arrieve i have business meetings and we met at the hotel. the staff are very friendly and helpful. hotel itself is clean and in the middle of the city, very near to the airport, banks, market, restaurant.there is a shaolong house across which is open 24 hrs.actually i went back to stay another night before my flight.

we stayed here for 2 nights. the standard room is spacious but has old furnishings. the space of the standard room is the same of that of the deluxe room (we took 5 rooms, 2 standards, 2 deluxe and one suite). the only difference was the television (lcd for the deluxe, box type for the stndard room.
the flush of the toilet at deluxe room number 7 doesnt work so you had to flushed it manually (using a pail tha is provided).
we have encountered a problem though when we checked in for our rooms in this small hotel since one of our booked room (the suite/family room) has been already taken even though weve also booked it thru agoda. so to make up for it, they provided us an additional deluxe room (with no additional payment) which is fine.
the staff were friendly, accomodating and prompt in their services.
we bought some fresh seafoods in the market to be cooked at the hotel but weve learned that we have to pay a cooking charge of pesos per dish...which is quite expensive so we opted to have our seafoods cooked at the nearby restaurant accross the street (fista bulala and chaolong resto) and theyve only charged us for all the 4 dishes which was served at the hotel (free of charge).
this hotel is small, but clean, and affordable. perfect for large family reunions/tours (we are 12 pax).
Shopping Tip:
Tiangge Tiangge is the place to go for souvenirs and pasalubongs. i bought a large sungka set, made of solid wood, for only 500 and a large wooden lamp for 1k plus. you can also find shirts, dried foods and other things in here. the market is in close proximity to the hotel. just hire a tricycle for 8 pesos a pax to get there.

Oh man My stay at Tropical Sun Inn was the best so far in the many hotels we been staying in in our travels. When we got there after transporting us from the airport we 1st noticed that it was very clean and very nice looking and the staff was very freindly and very very helpful. We wanted to go on a tour to the underground river and most all places were fully booked because of the valentines week. They told us they will call around to find a vacant spot for the 3 of us. After calling around for a long while they found a spot for us with a tour group. They diddent waist time and there was no lazyness from any of the staff. Oh let me add that my wifes brother joined us and they had no problem adding him to our room and was very quick and nice to get him his own bed for a small fee of course. They treated him and us with lots of respect. Many more good things to say but i cant fit it all on here. We will defenetly stay at Tropical Sun Inn everytime we got to Puerto Princesa. Thank you to all the staff there!. Ernie

Juste pour une nuit en transit au pire. Chambre petite, sans lumière, clim bruyante, petit dejeuner limite. Bref, surtout pas pour un long sejour !
