great resort,relaxing ambiance

Considering the overall ambiance of the resort, it is really relaxing and it assures you a peaceful vacation. The resort is big, filled with flora which is a great add-on to the calming atmosphere it brings to its guests. The rooms are big, however the bed is not that comfy to sleep on. The staffs wearing yellow uniform are so friendly and accomodating, however the restaurant staffs are the opposite. You really have to bring along a lot of patience when dining in their resto as they are slow in giving orders and providing what you need.

Vacation in Paradise
Definitely a great place to get away and spend with the family. Perfect for reunions and absolutely loved staying in the Casitas Villa

This hotel and resort was so much better than what I was expecting! A bit of a drive, it's remoteness gave you a sense of retreat from the business of the towns prior to it.
The beach is just breathtaking and the Casitas Villa is spacious and comfortable. There was always hot water readily available for coffee and tea and the staff are very friendly and hospitable.
They have a huge pool which is great if you don't really feel like swimming in the ocean. But their jacuzzi is a bit of a disappointment only being open for a few hours during the day and a couple of hours at night. It was also not even close to being hot or even luke warm.
The bathroom we had though was a bit musky and could have used a bit more cleaning but over all, our weekend getaway was truly enjoyable!
One thing to note about the restaurant is that their complimentary breakfast was delicious, lots of options! Their lunch and dinner though are fine but don't expect the best quality food and it is a bit pricey.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
We skipped the activities they had at the resort and took a half day tour to Hundred Islands in Alaminos (about an hour drive from the resort). If you want access to the better islands look for Mang Doming Tuazon. He won't just drop you off on an island and leave you there. He won't over charge you either. He took us island-hopping and even brought us to the open water to check out the giant clams.
