Good place to relax

we spent two days at oceana and it was very nice. we needed a place to get away from work for a couple of days and oceana provided that. it is a little farther from town but you get the quiet secluded place to relax from the hustle and bustle of the town and white beach.
caretaker was nice and was always very helpful. breakfast was provided and it was ok filipino breakfast. the water was turned off sometimes so if you need to take a shower or need the water you just need to tell them to turn it on. the beach is nice and they have a kayak that you can take on the water. beach has little rocks so if you are looking for white sandy beach, this is not it.
we took a trip to the be white beach and had a good time there one of the evenings. they have fire shows, food etc.
anyway, it was a good trip. puerto galera is not the best beast town in the world, i have seen better in hawaii, ghana and south africa but it is a nice beach to enjoy.
Nightlife Tip:
Take a trip to White beach and enjoy the fire shows and the food.

The hotel is very basic but is undergoing renovation with new Korean owners. I expect that there will be significant improvements over the next few months. The staff are friendly and it is a nice location although the beach is a little rocky.

Place for relaxation but needs improvement

Oceana beach resort nested in the calm location in dulangan, 15 mins away from the main port of muelle and 30 mins away from the famous yet busy beach of white beach.If you want to be relax and get away from your busy work try oceana, the service are great and people are pleasant good food,but then there are plenty of things to renovate, rooms for improvement the near beach front beach ) is too rocky and waves are strong alternative is to go further to left or rigth to have a white beach sand comparable to WB but less people (less crowded), the rooms are fine though the water presure is low in the afternoon and the garden room no 1 is much nicer compared to the rest of the room ( if you want to book here try the garden room 1) we stay at 5 and six but I saw the interior of 1 is more pleasing than ours I try to change our room number but they did not approved :( we saw plenty of trash in garden and in the backyard due to renovation I guess, the pool is good for 10-15 pax I thnk the deepest is 10 ft.you can try basketball, badminton and tennis when the cars are not in the court :( so we play beach badminton.
If I will rate this hotel base on my experience 1 is the lowest 5 the highest 3.6*
