Clean rooms and resort accessible to the beach

We booked two rooms for 5 pax and 6 pax at Sea Jewel Resort last April 20 and 21, 2013 in the second floor. My review will be based on these two rooms.
Here are the pros and cons:
Pros:
- rooms are clean and pictures in the website are accurate
- just a few steps away from the White Beach area
- clean bath towel is provided for each guest
- bed linens are not worn out (although a bit thin)
- rooms that are air conditioned still have electric fans in good condition
- with hot and cold water settings in the bathroom
- Ms. Derling (hotel owner) prefers to keep the guests boat tickets for immediate turnover upon checkout
- Hotel representative, was very helpful and happy to assist guests in buying round trip boat tickets and other fees upon guests arrival at Batangas Pier terminal 3.
Cons:
- no veranda (for a specific room) in which wet clothes can be hanged
- water pressure is not that good
- food in the hotel restaurant is a bit overpriced; staff are not attentive and sometimes deliberately ignores customer requests
- not a 24 hour check in (just like the nearby White Beach Resort); thus we were just asked to leave our stuff at the corner of their restaurant as we proceed on our Island Hopping activity while our rooms are not yet available
In case we will visit Puerto Galera again, we will still consider booking in this resort. However, we will try the nearby resorts first before staying here again.

Quiet, Clean and friendly staff

The staff is very friendly, they assisted our group very well. We did had a problem with communication prior to coming to the hotel due to the delays with the transportation but the hotel managed it well. The room is comfy with TV and hot and cold shower. But it'll be better if they'll allow food inside the hotel or even have a mini fridge inside. Overall the hotel is a very nice place to stay in. Very quiet and the staffs are very accommodating.
