Isolated, peaceful place far away from everything

Located 45-60min trycicle or motorbike ride away from Siquijor pier, 20min ride to Lazi town! Booked the seaside house which was a good choice - aircon working well, nice decoration & style of the room(s), only few steps away from sea, perfectly quiet location for relaxation far away from everything. Electricity blackout for 4 hours on first evening which happens from time to time, no mobile connection at any time! Wifi working in restaurant. Food depends on availability and is overprized since there is no alternative!

Lovely but extremely remote!

Great place but we underestimated the reviews which told us it was so out of the way!!
Sill was great, nice room, lovely pool, snorkelling really good.
But we probably wouldn't recommend it. Simply because you are trapped there to eat only at their restaurant, (which closes at 7pm) and do whatever activities they allow.
If all you want to do is lay around all day and go to bed at 8pm, then go for it.

From Manila, book a ticket bound to Dumaguete City thru either Cebu Pacific or Philippine Airlines. These airlines fly to Dumaguete City twice each daily. Arriving at Dumaguete City Airport, take a taxi or a Tricycle to the Dumaguete Pier (about 5 km). You then book a ticket to Siquijor at Delta Fast Ferries. Delta Fast Ferries Travels to Siquijor 4 times a day at 2 hours interval to Siquijor island and it takes only about 40 minutes depending on the weather and sea. When you arrive in either Siquijor or Larena, take a jeepney (a small bus) to Lazi. Or you can rent the whole jeep for a round trip. When you are in Lazi, take a pedicab (tricycle) to Talayong. The resort is located in Barangay Talayong, Lazi, Siquijor. It only takes thirty (30) minutes to drive from the Port of Siquijor, Siquijor to the provincial highway, then another 15 minutes thereon to the actual location. Small buses (locally called "Jeepneys") serve as the main mode of transportation in the Island, roving 6:00 am - 5:00 pm at an interval of 30 minutes.
