a good hotel at the fringe of a hill.the hotel is close to amenities and easily accessable to tourist sites.
the breakfast was poor. could improve on its menu under package for travellers.
we enjoyed our stay at days hotel at tagatay.a v alue for money resort close to eateries, shops, bars, and tourist attraction. a nice scenic view of the lake. hotel best suites any tourist, especially newly wed couples.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : when visiting the volcano be careful of touts. the best rate for boat ride to the volcano is 1200pesos. you negotiate the price, dont be cheated by touts nhassle and pricing.

hotel staffs don't have enough knowledge about the area, foods they serve, entire place needs painting, bathroom has molds, dirty, carpets need replacement.
We like and love the site, overlooking taal volcano, front desk staff were helpful but needs more knowledge about the area,ex.what's the elevation level of tagaytay. Most of them needs to have a smiling face to make their guests feel more welcome.Restaurants staffs need to be educated about the foods they serve,ex. ingredients. The service was good, the foods were serve fast.
The room where we stayed was dirty, there was some pungy odor. The bathroom has black molds.Carpet was dirty and it smells. The air conditioning was noisy off and on.We were thinking of not coming back to stay in the same hotel again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Near the picnic grove, restaurants, town center. And near the mainroad.

Well situated on main road. Easy access.
The hotel is showing it's age. Can do with a face lift.
Overall my stay was good. At times I thought that some staff, especially the reception, could be tought more English. The rooms are OK but I found the bathroom very restrictive. The dining room staff were very good and tried hard but in my opinion could do with a bit more training. The head waiter was a pearl. He always had a grin from ear to ear and was always in a jovial mood. The small bar in front of the dining room could be improved. It is not very inviting to have a drink before dinner. It's not easy to maintain a spotless facade in the climate of the Philippines but I thought it was due for a coat of paint on the external walls. Outside I got the feeling of slight decay.
Restaurant Tip : Further up from the hotel are a few very good restaurants. We had dinner in a 'hawaiin' restaurant which was very good.

Lovely views. Staff very attentive and welcoming. Rooms are comfortable. Pool.
Breakfast - very basic, don't expect too much if you have stayed at other hotels in Manila.
No taxis in area.
Quite high position, usually above or in the clouds.
We stayed 3 nights visiting family who lived in the area. On arrival and during our visit the staff were very friendly and attentive which enhanced our impression of the hotel. We booked a standard room which did not have a bar fridge or hair-dryer, this was not clear on the internet. The position does take in lovely views, however when we were there we were usually above or amongst the clouds which blocked the view. Pool was very popular.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Peoples Park - good views Taal volcano

room was clean and spacious
complimentary breakfast was not good (continental breakfast)
the complimentary breakfast should be improved. Continental breakfast was only comprised of toast bread and slice of cheese. It would be nice if the complimentary breakfast is the buffet also. Guest can just pay in addition if he chose to have a buffet.

When we got there we were checked in quickly. The elevator was a scenic one but then as you go down you see the rust and areas of the hotel needing renovation.
Staff were very friendly.
Our room was a place to rest. Quiet place.
Great location. walking distance to seven 11 and other places to eat. near casino!
nice bathroom, separate sliding door for toilet and shower, and wash area.
- pool had lots of fallen leaves and bugs. jacuzzi not warm at all
- free breakfast was only continental. so we had to pay more to eat filipino food which wasn't that great. eggs were undercooked, we had a tummy ache.
For the price of 3,700 we got (internet rate) instead of 5,000plus, ALL IN ALL it was a GOOD experience because we had never stayed in days inn before. we had no glaring negatives for the hotel but we wish they would renovate a bit. the outside walls were a bit rusty and the carpeting inside the room was wet in some places. I like that there were two big beds so if there had been a family here, it would have been roomy enough. There was also cable available and free wifi at the lobby. Wish they would upgrade their free breakfast to a filipino one instead of continental (just rolls and jams) becoz most visitors prefer filipino or american breakfast.

Setting is very nice with views over the lake. Good swimming pool and very friendly staff
Our stay was for one night only. Whilst it rained heavily for the whole period we where there the hotel still managed to please us. The evening had a live band who were very good and friendly staff attending to drinks etc. The views from the hotel room a very nice and each room has a small adequate balcony. The gardens and swimming pool area are pleasant. Even in the rain you can enjoy the jacuzzi and the views. Check in and out were simple and efficient. The staff at breakfast were warm and friendly and attentive. Breakfast was good and a reasonable good choice from the menu. The rooms were clean and well appointed. Great value for money hotel.

Position , restuarant food was beautiful , staff were very nice, good value for money.
Tagaytay really needs a bit more privately owned hire transportation(with drivers) for foreigners in the area
It was great , really enjoyed my stay there.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you are a foreigner , make sure you arrange transport to take you back to manila or your desired destination the same time you arrange your arrival, as taxi transportation is not available once in tagaytay.

- Beds were very large and comfortable
- Fantastic views of Taal Lake from most parts of the hotel
- Hotel has a good, convenient location very close to Tagaytay city centre
- Complimentary breakfast was meagre
- Air-conditioner was noisy
- No staff came to repair the faulty sink when requested
Check-in at this hotel was smooth. Both the room and toilet were clean and there were fantastic views of Taal Lake from the private balcony and lobby area.
However, although the hotel is relatively well-maintained, some signs of wear-and-tear are evident. The window-mounted air-conditioner unit got particularly noisy at night. The sink stopper was also faulty, and I had to put up with a flooded sink as a result.

Great View from balcony. Clean rooms with free wifi in the upper floor. Comfortable beds.
There were no hand towels or wash cloths. The wallpaper was patched in places and normal wear and tear of the shower fixtures from being used over the years. I was mistakenly put in a standard room on the bottom floor but moved to the superior room the next afternoon. The next two mornings their the breakfast meals (omelet, juice, toast and Filipino breakfast) were free.
The hotel rooms have a great view from the bottom floor and the top floor. The standard and superior rooms are the same size but the superior has 4 pillows/bed, refrigerator, table and chairs on balcony and hot water maker w/ coffee and tea.
The restaurant has good food and the free continental breakfast is coffee and sliced pineapple/water melon plate.

Staff can be snooty and rude.
I find the price a bit high for the quality of the hotel and its service. The Front Desk/Reception Staff can be snooty. Although the waiters in the coffee shop are rather nice and friendly.
Location is good though as it is close to Tagaytay's tourist attractions.

Can recommend this hotel for all ages. Couples and families. A quiet and cooler place to rest away from Manila. But not to far to go for a shopping to the big city. But also with a lot of closer malls.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Close to a nice trip to Taal volcano. It is a trip by tricycle, boat and horseback riding up to the crater. Taal volcano is one of the world smallest most dangerous sleeping volcano. It last erupted in 1989.
Also many other nice places to see and a lot of nice restaurants.

There are now several other new hotels nearby which give a better price for money (but most of them can't be booked online)
