Great location and amusement area
Billiard hall, jacuzzi and the taal lake view
8.7
Nice place for a short time travel from Manila and easy to locate. Get to feel the Santorini experience with the designs of their rooms and even the sorroundings. Nice place for weekend get aways.
Hotel Feature Tip:
In selecting hotels to stay at, cosnider the value of money as well as your preference on what to do for the vacation.

Wow!
What a lovely place to stay.
My wife and I went to tagaytay for a second honeymoon with our staff, and were not disappointed.
I looked through many hotels and decided upon the Estancia. Perfect choice.
Although at first there was a discrepancy in the room we booked (My fault, seems I booked the wrong room!) after some discussion we had our room upgraded for a small fee.
The room was fantastic, nice and clean, and the bathroom! Wow! Truly first class.
The room we had was basically a private unit in a block of 4, (two top, two bottom) and the view over Taal lake was amazing.
The staff were very good to us while we were there (I must recommend being nice to the staff when you travel, it is nearly always recipricol and will make your stay so much more comfortable!) and happy to provide advice and have a chat.
We will definitely go back to the Estancia when we return to Tagaytay!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Might be best to organise a tour of the lake and volcano through a third party, it can be quite expensive!
And if you take a horse, be prepared to pay the tour guides an extra tip! They get paid next to nothing from the people who charge you for the boat ride and tour package...

Fantastic hotel with amazing views!
Cleanliness and professionalism of staff
10
Never being to Tagaytay, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel. The staff was plenty helpful and the hotel grounds were well kept. The views of the volcano were amazing! We had a great breakfast both mornings and the service was impeccable. Our room was more than big enough to store our belongings, and the high ceilings added a nice touch.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Have to get to People's Park in the Sky! About a 200 peso and a 20 minute tricey ride, our driver even volunteered to wait for us! Bring some peso to do some shopping when you get to the top and try out the pineapples at the waiting area. You are really on top of the world when you get there. It's a little bit of a walk uphill from the drop off area and I think it's about a 60 peso entry fee. Nothing too much, but so worth it!

Good location but not value for money
Location - overlooking Lake Taal, what can I say?
5.3
i dont get these santorini rooms, they are so overpriced, the cost is not worth the quality of the room. not even a daily complimentary bottled water, hotel service does not respond (we requested some replacement towels - no action at all). i've stayed in better hotels in manila, china, us, & india for a lot cheaper price, with better service. internet is not free! aw come on!

The hotel personnel are accommodating. We were pleased on the offer on the use of jacuzzi and a service to the Santorini clusters. However, when we want to avail of the offers, they said it's no longer available. Unfortunately, this hotel doesn't allow guests to use their flat iron.
The breakfast was OK. However they dont have Christmas eve dinner so we have to go to Taal Vista for our dinner.

Pretty nice location and accommodation
The view of Taal Lake has its advantage
7.3
The accommodation, Santorini was pretty neat. Just make sure that the beddings were carefully checked for creeping insects like ants. Because my siblings complained about it. But the ambiance, the feel and experience are all great for a family who was taking for a short break. The location was good due to closeness to fast foods and supermarket. The food was common and expensive. They should lowered it down to convince the checked in client to stay.

Near to major tourist places and nice view

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It is having very good view and it is near to almost all tourist places. Only problem is rooms are very small and they dont have many vegeterian items on the menu.

One of the best hotel getaways in Tagaytay
Design and Architecture, Concept, Proximity to tourist spots, amenities
8.3
From the moment you enter their hotel, you will find it different from the usual design you will see in other hotels in the area. This hotel resort is huge that there is a service golf car just to transfer you from one hotel room to the next. The gotel resort consists of different themes - from nipa huts, to spanish type to other european themes. For their deluxe room, it is a bit small but these rooms are closest to the main lobby and the swimming pool. Also, room has adequate outlets doe different electronics.
Pool is big, water spa is beside the pool but do require reservation. There is also a playground for kids.
Souvenir shop has not much selection. Food served was good but no buffet. Lobby is also welcoming.
Cons would be that connection is pretty bad as you will have a hard time getting network mobile phone signals and wifi connection is scarce and expensive (around per hour). Also, they could not provide wifi when we need it most because they had run out of wifi loading cards *_* Another downside as they are a bit slow in accommodating guests during checkout.
All in all, if you want to have a secluded family getaway.. away from busy Manila and even away from mobile and internet collections and want a good place to relax then this is one of the best Tagaytay has to offer.
