Our stay is very remarkable that would love to come back again and again. I highly recommend this hotel because of the services we received. How sweet the owner that she even gave us a complimentary tarragon tea before we sleep. I totally Amazed when they serve our desserts, The Alaska Cake! You can only find that kind of cake in s seven star luxury hotel and it only cost 165 pesos. Our breakfast is not a conventional buffet but it is a fine dining and you can taste that it came from a natural herbs from their little garden. The Bed, its a WOW! They use 3 cotton covered sheets and a specialized comfort for the back. If you wanna get pampered and looking for comfort this is the hotel that we should visit.

I found my stay at Potter's Ridge to be very relaxing, which was what I was looking for in my Tagaytay getaway. The place was really lovely and offered a very majestic view of the Tagaytay mountainside. I just wished they offered some complimentary free water and coffee/tea to guests in the room and also conditioner along with the toiletries kit.

Disappointing

The view was very nice and the area is quiet. Luckily, we stayed when there were only a few guests in the hotel because some reviews noted that the walls were paper-thin. I was very quiet throughout the night, mainly because the place was SO FAR from the main area in Tagaytay. The room was small and VERY basic, curtains were thin and flimsy and could hardly keep the blinding sunlight out, there was NO cable (a first for me--hotel with no cable), the bathroom wasn't very appealing, water was weak, breakfast was limited AND disappointing as well. We won't be going back to that hotel.

Short but not unevenful.
The scenic view of the lake and the volcano, friendly staff and close to the main road.

The rooms are below average. We reserved for a superior room but I don't think it so superior. Our view is from the side of the hotel instead of a mountain view. There was no screen on the window, cannot take advantage of the night's cool air because things were flying into our room. There was a brown out and the hotel generator cannot handle the capacity of the hotel. It's not worth the price paid.

Not kid/elder friendly, untidy rooms

Not elder/kid friendly, dirty beds/rooms, manager not accommodating
- stairs are too long, left my elder guests who are used to their 3 floor homes panting.
- owner is very amiable, while the manager quite unpleasant - not the welcome party tired travellers expect
- owner sent me an email of rates for additionals, manager was overcharging us . they ended up giving us 50% off but manager's computation was incorrect.
- phones were not working. No one answers front desk.
- TVs don't have remote control.
- not much parking space. double park at your own risk, they don't make efforts finding out who parked behind your car.
- breakfast is late. coffee was not hot.
- extra beds smell bad and dusty.
- bathroom was untidy. mirror was dusty, there was a big spider on our toilet and there were dust bunnies behind each door.
- automatic faucet gets stuck, can't avoid the wasting water
- curtains blocked the aircon.

I liked the peaceful surroundings, great views from the balcony and their nice breakfast. Turn offs are bathroom cleanliness and the tv did not work.
