Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

I loved this location. The hotel room was great, and the bathroom was large. Staff were friendly and helpful, prices were great, food was great. We had a wedding party go to the hotel before the wedding for a welcome dinner, and with over 50 people the hotel did awesome.

Great hotel, friendly & helpful Staff
Great location with famtastic views
8.3
Without a doubt the friendliest hotel I have ever had the pleasure to stay at.
The staff went out of their way to make my stay as pleasurable as possible.
Giving me a lift to a venue in town as they thought it was too far to walk, inviting me to join them for lunch, etc.
A quiet town but with a lot of tourists attractions on offer all withing easy reach of manila.
I will be definitely staying at this hotel again for future visits.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Hotel staff will be happy to assist with Sightseeing arrangements.

Stayed one night, the night before my wedding. Disappointed to find they were digging up the carpark and the Digger started at 6am, couldnt really hear anything from my room but but i also had friends staying and their room was more front facing so they were awakened by the noise. Also when i was getting ready on the morning of my wedding it was only later i discovered i had received what appeared to be flea bites on my feet & ankles, only because the only other person to visit my room who took their shoes off was my sister and she received the same bites do i know know they came from the room carpet (room 214). quite disgusting i sure you will agree.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Go across the lake and up the Volcano on horse back, worth doing if only once.

New Hotel, Excellent service and staff! Food is good and reasonably priced. Rooms are a little small, but hotel is very clean and the view from most rooms is spectacular. Highly recommend.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
must take a Tal volcano trek(horse-back) up to the 1911 eruption site,,well worth your time...

The rooms were small but very clean.
The sheets smelled good and they had great food.
Toiletries were lacking however as they only had soap and shampoo.
No conditioner lotion or toothpaste was provided.
The view of Taal lake was very nice however and made the room well spent for.

Great hotel with an awesome view.
9.7
this was a wonderful hotel and a very great staff.
i will agree that the only thing in my view that the hotel should improve upon is the having rooms with single queen or king size beds. all of the rooms in the hotel have either two queens or a queen and a twin which makes the room much smaller. i mean for a single traveler or just a single couple don't need two beds in the room. overall i would recommend this hotel over and over again....

Great view and even better service!
Beautiful hotel, excellent service from all staff, great view

the hotel itself is quite nice. i was in a room without any view, but it didn't matter. the view from the lobby/lounge is most excellent. there is also a lawn area where it was very pleasant to sit and read in the sunshine. the pool seems a little out of place--it doesn't have a deck around it and it's sort of half inside and half outside. it was nice, but i think its placement doesn't lend to people using it much. i think i only saw people in it twice over my two-day stay.
the hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful, but especially at the front desk. they were so patient and answered all of my very many questions about the area and things to do there.
the breakfast in the hotel cafe was quite good, and on sunday they had a full buffet with many tasty options to choose from.
lastly, there is wifi throughout the hotel, though i had some trouble connecting to it at first. after asking the front desk staff to have the router reset for my section of the hotel, it worked perfectly.
they have tours to go to taal volcano and that's definitely worth a trip,
Nightlife Tip:
There isn't much for nightlife in Tagaytay, it seems. But then, that may also just be expectations for a weekend night out in the Philippines. Every place seemed to be pretty quite and mellow. The most hoppin' place was the Starbucks. :(
