Great for a rest big clean beds , in big clean room , shame that i had to ask the front desk to get the swimming pool man to clean the pool , i wonder if he needed glasses LOL ? so much dirt on the bottom of the pool floor ..the pool is great for kids , because its 1 foot deep at one end , and 4 feet at the deep end ,

Renovation partly succesfull

I would define my stay at La Maja Rica as moderate due to the partly finished renovation. They did a wonderfull job by repainting all the rooms BUT excluded the bathroom from any changes. The taps, shower and furniture are very old and done. It is such a pity for such a nice building. The bathroom as a whole needs an urgent overhaul.
The staff is allright and helpfull . Brakfast takes some time to serve, so keep this in mind if you need to take some scheduled transport.

We enjoyed our stay very much, very nice room, well lit, easy access to city transportation and to the New Mall in Tarlac City.
