Lovely hotel and service with a smile
The hotel very near MRT station in Chinatown, great location!

We checked-in on 12/12/2012, the receptionist very friendly and she explained the facilities of the hotel to us clearly.Each of us has been given a door entry card to enter the main door of rhe hotel and our room. No outsider can enter to the hotel nor our room, we felt comfortable and safe.

This place is very easy to find, just a few seconds walk from chinatown mrt station. Many food stalls within 5 minutes walking distance from the hostel. Many gift shops and several attractions as well. Recommended hostel.
Shopping Tip:
Gift shops around the hostel sells some cheap stuff. Good value.

Great location at the China Town MRT exit

hotel is located at pagoda street, one of the exits of china town mrt station. it is very convenient to explore much tourist attraction in china town and its surrounding areas. from here, one could reach most parts of singapore.
hotel room is spacious with 5 double bunk beds and 3 single beds. no separation of man and woman.there is a locker for each guest, however the pad lock is not furnished.
back packers i meet included germans, filipino, indonesia, japanese, koreans and other europeans.
there is a common area with tv, video player, one table with sofa for 3 persons, two i-pads with internet connections and a breakfast table. breakfast choices are corn flares, milk, breads with jams, peanut butter, tea & coffee. the check-out time is 12 noon.
it was a pleasant stay.
Nightlife Tip:
Along the Singapore river which is about 150 meter away, there are plenty food outlets, pubs and disco for late night adventurer.

I love this place, it's my second stay with them. I love the location just a walk away from Chinatown MRT station in Pagoda Street. Wifi is free and fast. Simple breakfast provided and air conditioning is good too. Highly recommended for backpackers or solo travelers.

Good location. Come out from mrt station the guesthouse signboard is easily spotted.
Suitable for backpacker. If u are with big luggage u need to carry it and climb to 2nd and 3rd floor.
Staff is polite but not so helpful. Upon request they will attend to u but tend to forgot your request. As example I said my room can't receive the wifi signal she only said I think is our router problem need to switch off and on it again. But no action taken, ended up I'm the one to go and fix it.
The trashbin is always full and I see the same trashbin not clear from noon till the next morning still the same no one clear it. Basin is dirty too.
Shopping Tip:
Is at Chinatown u can get souvenir there.

Actually I booked the Beary Good Hostel but for some reason, the staff brought me to another hostel "Beary Best". Both of these places are very near the MRT China Town Station. Although it's not the hostel I booked at first, they are from the same owner and I really love it!!! This place gives me a feeling like I'm staying at my friend's home. The staffs are very kind and friendly. There are 8 beds in 1 room but each person still have their privacy! Moreover, each of us have our own locker (But you have to bring your own key or else, you can buy from the hostel) so, no need to worry that your stuffs will be lost! Perfect!
