Front desk staff not very friendly
Overall experience was good. Other than when make up room, keep all the used towels and did not replaced with new ones.

Spacious rooms. Accommodating staff and crew, Sound proofed rooms.
No aircon. Locked windows, can't smoke inside the room because of it.
Albert Court Hotel should add more choices of food to the buffet, especially the vegetable salad. Please add choices of dressing where one can come up with his/her own choice of dressing. Also add more fruits. I am satisfied with my stay in the hotel, except for the food. Overall, I enjoyed staying there

the price of the room
facilities e.g. exercise room, jacuzzi
location in Little India
free wireless
efficient staff
wireless only worked in certain areas of the room
the hotel was hard for taxi drivers to find
the staff was efficient, honest and courteous; the room was well priced for Singapore and a good value, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was overpriced. Little India is an interesting area to stay if you are in Singapore - it is centrally located, lots of varied and interesting food stalls, near Bugis Shopping market, and close to MRT station. It was about 30 minutes to the airport on the MRT and it cost only SGD 2.60 - the ride was smooth, fast and comfortable.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : the korean bbq at the food stall next to the hotel on Rochor Road was excellent; make sure the taxi driver knows where he's going before you go to this hotel - I spent an extra $10 in taxi fare trying to find the place.....

Check -in - good..gave me upgrade and free internet (although the internet was not good) and a wonderful location in the heart of things. Comfortable quiet room and great bathroom.
Internet.... would not work in room unless sitting on floor in middle of room also food was pricey at the hotel so tended to eat outside...
I chose this hotel after commparing it on the Internet to others in Singapore. The location right near Little India is great as that is one of the most interesting areas of Singapore. Close to MRT too.
The hotel itself was pleasant with lots of sitting areas and a very comfortable room (the one I had) with all amenities (except bad Internet). The staff was exceptionally nice and accommodating. I'd stay there again. And Agoda gave me the best rate!

- Friendly employee
- relative near to Bugis MRT
- cozy room
- Free coffee & apple at lobby
- no free internet connection at room

clean, good location near little india, friendly staff, comfortable room, quiet, tasty breakfast
it is a destination hotel for both private parties and groups and if there are a lot of people on group tours it is less sedate with kids running around.
we had a room across the driveway from the main bldg and it was very quiet, well appointed and comfortable. also there is an espresso/mocha machine in the common area of that bldg, which was a yummy way to start the day. there was also a big bowl of apples. be sure to book the room to include the breakfast as it is quite expensive otherwise. they had the best indian type bean daal along with western food and more asian choices in the buffet. efficient check in and very accomodating front desk staff. the staff at breakfast was also very nice. many of them are from nepal and having lived there, it was nice to hear a namaste in the morning. be sure to bring your plug adapters if you are from the states and need to recharge things. it is a little tricky because the sockets are on switches and in order to plug something in you would have to leave a light on and that doesn't always work when you are ready to go to bed! you will enjoy singapore if you stay at the albert court!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : ask for directions to a really pretty chinese temple that is an easy walk and tucked away almost off of an alley. it is near the bugis shopping area. there is lots of great shopping nearby and even worth a bit longer walk to moustafa indian indoor market. altho things in singapore are not cheap. eat in the 'hawker' restaurants...good food and good value.

Quaint hotel, nice atmosphere and environment
Rooms a little tired looking.
Decent clean room and toilet. Quaint atmosphere in hotel in general. Rooms a little tired looking. Decent restaurant in hotel. Pleasant counter staff. Transport to shopping areas easy. All in all, an acceptable hotel for short stay visitors looking for clean safe private accomodation. Not luxurious in decor in the room although general hotel decor is nice. Ample car parking for those renting a car but access to carpark is only via one lift.

- gd location
- reasonable price
- hard to find (for my friends at least)
booked thru agoda for albert court hotel. Decided base on it's reasonable price and being near Bugis junction. The reception was courteous during check in and was kind enough to follow up with me since i told her i don't want a court yard room. (due to review here) However, the fountain noise was bearable for me and i think they switch it off after 12am?
There were hawker food nearby. I like it. Bugis street & junction is just 10 mins walk away.
The check out took longer than i think reasonable since i reckon the staffs were slow and not as responsive during my check in.
Overall, i recommend traveller if you are looking for a reasonable price 4 star and near Bugis area.

room size, small and mostly clean, good (but expensive) food.
no free wifi, no free water, self-service laundry expensive ($10 to wash and $10 to dry)
The Albert Court is a nice older hotel. The location is so-so, near Little India and the MRT. The staff were fine, polite and unobtrusive, but rarely helpful. The room decor is a bit dated, faded and worn, but the bed is comfortable. For the price, it's a good-sized room in Singapore.

Overall its a very good location , easily walk to Arab street, Little India just opposite the road, next block to IT centre. Walking distance to Mustafa Centre. Value for money if you like window shopping and jogging. Eat and dine is easy for Muslim traveler.

Albert court hotel is the right choice for cost, location and family considerations.Near to orchard, mrt and bus station to malaysia are some reasons why we choose the hotel.
The hotel needs to improve the building which is still older than the othr part
The hotel is my family choice whenever we visit singapore. It is moderate in price but my family is happy enough to stay. The room is large, clean, eventhough it is not new. It is near to shopping areas orchard, food and easy to access mrt, and bus station to malaysia.,

Bathrooms need to be cleaner
Great location, the Hotel is in walking distance to little India, Arab Street and Bugis Village. The Little India MRT is across. The bathrooms have a moldy smell to them and could be cleaned a little better. The rooms are a nice size and are very comfortable. The staff is nice, but not the greatest in processing your request.

location is perfect: 5 minutes walk to MRT station
bathroom equipment: "closet" still dirty when i've check in
i stay for 5 nights in Albert Court Hotel. Staff were friendly and familiar; i'm also satistied with the room rate (price) was very competitive; and location is perfect; 5 minutes walk to MRT station; 10 minutes walk from the famous 24 hours shopping mall "mustafa centre".
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : we can buy one ticket from tour that offering all in one package; more cheap than we have to pay per item attraction.

Staff very responsive is resolving any problems or concerns, location convenient to 3 MRT stations and Little India for site seeing and shopping, two Jacuzzis (one hot, one cool) for relaxing after work or hot day of site seeing.
Furnishings and amenities were not up to standard of other 4 star hotels in Asia, breakfast buffet price had increased from SGD 15 listed in the Agoda info for the hotel to almost SGD 24 making it even more over priced in relation to the limit number of food choices available.
Overall, the Albert Court is worth considering for your business or holiday stay in Singapore. The convenience to 3 MRT stations is a big plus and the staff was extremely helpful when ever issues arose. However, it is clearly not a 4 star hotel (3 1/2 at best). The buildings were well done when converted to a hotel and it is a pleasant environment. No pool, but great to go to the Jacuzzi in the interior court yard of the main building after a day of site seeing in the hot weather. If you like Indian food and products, the closeness to Little India is a huge plus. Although the furnishings and amenities were not equal to what I had experienced in other 4 star hotels throughout Asia, the fact that it was among the lowest priced 4 star hotels in the Agoda listings has to be considered.
Due to problems, we were upgraded twice. The final room, in the 2nd building across the small commercial plaza was at the high end of the hotel’s room rates, but was the one that had the kinds of amenities and furnishings that I've experienced as basic to 4 star hotels elsewhere. The previous rooms had no robes, no slippers (not even disposable paper ones), limited drawer space for clothes, limited bath amenities, etc. All in all the Albert Court is a convenient, clean, comfortable hotel with responsive staff and a fair price at the low end of the 4 star range. It is worth considering unless you cannot do without customary 4 star amenities. In that case, you should either book one of the top rate rooms or look at another hotel.
One caution - If you are assigned an inside, court yard view room in the main building wing next to the restaurant, you should ask for a change. Our first upgrade was to room 227 in that wing. The courtyard has several fountains and the courtyard walls hold in the sound and channel it to the interior rooms. While the sound of the fountains is pleasant enough (a bit like rain on the roof), the exhaust louvers for the equipment-motor room of the hotel also open o
Restaurant Tip : For breakfast options, other reviewers have mentioned the nearby food hawker courts. There are two: one around the corner of the same building complex as the hotel and one across the street in direction of the Little India MRT station. The one in the same complex is OK. Wide range of food options, including UK or USA style western breakfast (eggs, ham, toast, etc). The one across the street is not worth considering. Less choice and extremely rude staff, dirty kitchens, etc. In either case, if you are a westerner and have a rigid idea of what breakfast food should be, you are not likely to find the hawker courts satisfactory, because even the western breakfast will not be what you would be used to in the UK, Australia, USA. In that situation, if your room rate does not include breakfast, you are stuck between a choice of being flexible about what food you consider to be breakfast in order to take advantage of the low prices at the hawker court OR an over priced breakfast buffet at the hotel OR going to the MRT or getting a taxi and traveling somewhere to find a decent restaurant for breakfast. The Leo Cafe in the small outdoor commercial plaza of the hotel complex serves good lunches and dinners at reasonable prices.

Close to computer and electronic living life style plaza, Bugis street and many restaurants and Raffles Medical Centre
There is really NO cons. Yes a taxi stand in front of hotel would be nice, but you can have one rung or walk less than 100 m for cab.
The rooms are of a good, everything works and the hot water is nonstop. Breakfast is good with a wide range of choices. Staff very friendly and helpful. Close to computer and electronic living life style plaza, Bugis street and many restaurants and Raffles Medical Centre. Very reasonably priced, especially in this economic climate. I got internet free because of promotion when booking on Agoda. Try the local fresh cut up fruit or local food court next to hotel.
Restaurant Tip : Try the local fresh cut up fruit or local food court next to hotel.
