The location is near little India and near Sim Lim Shopping Mall and Bugis Street. Internet was complimentary.

If you want entertainment in the evening you need to take a taxi or a MRT trip with interchanges. No night life around.

The hotel is a nice old building. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. For the same room you pay a lot more in the central areas. Bugis Street the street market is close as well as Sim Lim the electronic mall. Little India just a few hundred meters away. For Clarke Quay and Boot Quay you better take the MRT or a taxi. Not far away, but you have to walk about 30 minutes.

Shopping Tip : Sim Lim electronic mall and bugis street market

Entrance of hotel is not prominent

The first impression was not very good. Upon alighting the taxi, we were unable to locate the entrance of the hotel until after 10min of searching. The lobby was quite small and not very impressive, but is decently clean and well lit. The counter staff were polite and friendly. The room that we stayed were clean and spacious, though now newly renovated. The bathroom is spacious and clean, but has no separate standing shower. This is a very important aspect that I look out for in all hotels. It is rather inconvenient to climb in and out of the bathtub as the floor may be wet and slippery.

Rooms were clean, reception staff were very fast and attentive. Great location for visiting Little India.

Could hear traffic from rooms on a low floor. Breakfast only started at 6:30am - early starters or those on early flights would have to eat elsewhere.

Overall a good hotel, clean rooms (small beds and bathrooms though), good service and good location - within walking distance to Little India. Is on the corner of a major road so traffic noises were very loud in my room as it was on floor 3 with a window facing the road.

very good smell of lemongrass, room clean, good service

Confused about Albert village and Albert court,

To convenient to take the MRT transportation, may 5 minutes by walking. Althrough, it's locate in Little India area but the people around there seem look friendly. Room clean, good smell and good service. when we go to this hotel. we have found the Albert village, so we still walking to find another hotel then come back to here and then the Albert village is Albert court.. Why's the name is not right. However, the 1st time in singapore in this hotel is good.

Restaurant Tip : Pakisathan Food is dilicious. you can fine it trough the road.

Location is good with lots of shopping nearby, a cinema plus 10 min walk from Bugis MRT station. Rooms okay but small - good beds. Staff very helpful.

Bit run down but overall okay. No pool but you can use Hotel Golden Landmark pool 15 mins walk away.

Lots of Indian restaurants close by too.

Value for money. Hawker Center, Sim Lim Square and new mall The Verve nearby. Little India MRT just 10 minutes away by foot. Leo's cafe cafe a must try, good noodles as well as shish mahal indian resaurant just outside hotel lobby.

none

A good find in Little India area. Good friendly staff. Value for money in terms of service and room accomodation. Most importantly included free wifi in the service.

Shopping Tip : 15 minute walk to Sim Lim Square. Best place in Singapore to look for electronic bargains. With good selection of food court in Sim Lim Square.

Newly renovated, friendly staff, great location

breakfast was expensive

I was pleasantly surprised as we drove up to this hotel to see how it has been upgraded. The hotel is smaller with two stories. The staff were very nice and the rooms were spacious with good bathrooms. There are some small shops in the courtyard that stay open late. In particular Leo's cafe which seems to be a Mom and Pop operation. We had a beer there every evening.

Shopping Tip : Close by is Sim Lim square with some good bargains on Camera and computer equipment.

- Fast check-in - Well maintained - Clean - Convenient (near MRT station)

- No compliment of Internet access in the room

I was there for a three days business trip. The hotel overall is clean and neat. Room is not that small but very clean. Check-in and check-out process is very fast. Easy to travel around because there are a lots of taxi nearby. Besides, the Bugis MRT station is just located within walking distance. For those who like to visit the Sim Lim Square, this hotel will be a good choice as Sim Lim Square is also within walking distance from the hotel. I'm satisfy with my stay.

The Staff were lovely. Great location.

Very old building.

The building was old, so a lot of the lights were a tad faulty, you really had to toggle them to get them working. We booked 2 rooms, they were both pretty small. One room was quite nice, the other, the carpet looked a little dirty, what was worse was the cockroach in the room. Besides that, the location is great, the staff were really friendly.

Excellent location, good buy! Guest Rating: 4

good location, clean and spacy room, nice courtyard with food stores, free internet access, clos to subway stations, Little India and Bugis

room preference was not met, yet alternative acceptable. High extra charges for breakfast. No pool. Convenient for short stay like max 2 or 3 nights.

I had requested a quiet room in a higher floor. Instead I had to accept a room in an adjacent building in the 1st floor, where I had to confront the noise of people chatting and drinking in the courtyard just underneath my window until after midnight although officially the restaurants on the ground floor were to close by 11 p.m. This was only bearable with ear plugs. therefore always insist on a higher floor in the main building!

Shopping Tip : market at Little India

Clean, comfortable, beautiful details in room and the property in general. Relaxing and pleasant. Good location.

Internet access is expensive, as is the buffet breakfast. Staff were busy/overwhelmed at peak check-in/check-out times.

We would certainly stay here again and recommend it to anyone. It's very clean, very comfortable, and our room was very nice. The location is good, too -- just across the street from Little India and all the delicious food that neighborhood has to offer, and a short walk from other good parts of town.

Restaurant Tip : Find some delicious vegetarian South Indian food right nearby in Little India!

Reception, Help full Staff, Location

Room size, Toilet Accessories.

It was a nice stay and arguably its a good value for money. The Location is very good and thats what made me book there. Reception Service is good and the staff are quite good, room size and toilet sizes are some of the thing which was not pleasant for me but not sure about the other people's experience. Overall its not a bad place to stay and its worth for the money too.

Shopping Tip : near to little india.

*A conveniently located boutique-style hotel *Reasonable rates *Quiet with no passing traffic *Friendly staff *Subway station (Bugis) 10 min walk away, direct to airport

*No swimming pool or gymnasium *Poor choice of restaurants in hotel and immediate vicinity

For visitors to Singapore who want a convenient location for the downtown district (Marina Bay, City Hall, Raffles Place, Orchard Road)the Albert Court is a very good choice. It is a 10 minute walk to the nearest subway station (Bugis) and only around 15 minutes to City Hall and the big hotels there. It is far cheaper than the top hotels but the tradeoff is that you don't get any 5 Star facilities. The biggest drawback is the lack of a swimming pool, comfortable lounge and restaurants (just one, which offers a decent lunchtime choice). However, the rooms though fairly small are quiet as the road in front of the hotel is a cul-de-sac and there are no bars, discos, etc nearby. Excellent choice if you are looking for a moderately priced, quiet hotel stay in Singapore.

-It's nice hotel. Hotel is decorated as Western style.

-Far from train station.

Overview of this hotel, I think it's nice for a couple who are seeking a quiet place. It's decorated as Western style. European travellers might feel as staying at home. However, i think it's quite far from train station around 10-15mins by walk. By taxi, i think it's the best way to go to other place from this hotel.
