10 minutes drive from city but very quiet and next to beach. very clean spcacious room, Good choice for breakfast, very helpful staff. The hotel provides free transportation to city.

I did not find any

The welcoming tean, which is splendid, really reflects on our stay. The facilities and rooms are great, the hotel only 10 minutes from town and still one can find quietness and green alround. The beach is really 5 minutes walk from the hotel which is great for kids. Both my kids and I have enjoyed it (my kids are teenagers. I would recommned it to anyone.

1. Nice aroma throughout the hotel!! Adds on to the already fantastic serene ambiance. 2. Excellent toilet amenities. Best I've gotten so far in a hotel!! 3. Sky pool was great!

1. Had some problem identifying the hotel lobby initially. Maybe should put the hotel name behind the counter. 2. Should have a back gate whereby guests can access the beach easier instead of having to walk one big round (up and down a slope, mind you) currently to reach the stairs that take you to the beach. 3. Jacuzzi at the Sky pool should have heater as the water can be quite cold. In fact, the pool itself can do with some heating.

My fiance and I were supposed to go Phuket for holiday. We had to settle for this instead because of the H1N1 problem. No regrets! It was a fantastic getaway for us. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly, especially our time spent at the Sky Pool. Too bad it rained the whole day on our 2nd day there. If not, it would have been much better! We liked the scent that was permeating throughout the hotel so much that we went to buy the aroma ourselves after checking with the staff what scent it was. No frills hotel with an excellent serene ambiance. Now that we have been there, we are even considering holding our wedding and solemnization here next year! We would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city life in Singapore!

Hotel Feature Tip : The Sky pool is a must try!

Romantic and Quiet, quite near to the beach

Breakfast is expensive, many mosquitoes

I still go ahead to stay with Amara Sanctuary despite the bad reviews that i have read here. I didnt expect their service to be that good. Their staff are very helpful and attentive. The resort is about 5 mins walk to the palawan beach and near there, there are a few nice restaurants. Not a bad location. The room is very beautiful and spacious, however, there are alot of mosquitoes at the courtyard. Overall, i m quite satisfied with the hotel except that their breakfast is not worth the money. The food at The Shutters are not very nice as well.

Nightlife Tip : Take a tram and visit Songs of the Sea!
