Amazing Luxury accomodation

this was our second hotel and when you move from a 3-4 star accommodation to a 5 star place in marina bays, you really notice the difference. this is a luxurious residence hotel for executives and business people. you will not find small children running around making noises here, which makes it great if you are seeking a getaway with a peace of mind, or if you are looking for a romantic time like we were.
the room was amazing. the room was full of quality items and facilities. shower gel and shampoo set are loccataine branded. the room size is huge. the bed was superb! you will only feel like bringing the bed home with you!
the swimming pool was amazing. it was like a giant fish tank on the 19th floor. we looked like giant fishes swimming in it! it felt like an infinity pool. in fact it can be considered an infinity pool. best thing is you will find your space without children playing around in the waters. they had a great gym that is huge! there was also a lounge with coffee beans from france, chocolates and biscotti from france too! really quiet which was what i was looking for.
the staff was amazing too, they really know how to manage a hotel and even the way they talked were really professional. you feel like a high up executive when you stay in this place! i loved it and wouldn't mind staying for a whole month!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
This hotel is located in the business district area. It is very near a historical hawker center called Lou Ba Sak with many choices in food. Great for breakfast. It is also located near Marina Bay Sands and Raffles.

we have stayed here twice in the space of one month and couldn't fault the place, except for some mis-timed housekeeping. the rooms are spacious, homey (if a little bit dark during day time) and there is everything you need. the glassed bathroom is a bonus if you want to watch your favourite programs whilst having a bath. l'occitane toiletries add to the feeling of being pampered. the pool on the 19th floor is wonderful, with views across half the cbd, even from underwater, as it is all see-through glass. there is also a little gym and the so-called living room, with non-stop coffee and coffee table books to relax with, either inside or outside by a table in the shade of trees on the terrace. there is a much unused jacuzzi on the roof of the building, in the shadow of the art deco tiered-cake top.
Restaurant Tip:
Just one block away from the hotel is the Lau Pa Sat Festival market, which opens 24-7 and serves all sorts of local delicacies for very low prices, so it's very convenient for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

A Home Away From Home
Great rooms, Great location

This is a classy serviced apt-style accommodation located in the heart of Singapore's CBD area. We stayed here over the weekend which had lesser traffic/people so we enjoyed the peace and quiet very much.
3 areas to highlight:
1) Location. Walkable distance to the Marina Bay area which is good for those who want to explore this part of Singapore. This area is usually bustling on weekdays, being the central business district so if you want to explore the area with less crowd, stay over on a weekend instead. Or if you prefer the crowd, a weekday stay will give you a glimpse of the busy lifestyle of Singapore...
2) Rooms. Very spacious with quality in-room furniture and furnishings. Comfy sofas, well-stocked kitchenette and huge bathroom. Fantastic Bose sound system. Basically the room allows you to feel "at home" and makes for a comfortable stay. They use L-Occitane toiletries too.
3) Transport. Very convenient to move around Singapore as it is only a 5-minute walk to Raffles Place MRT station which is also an Interchange. Many buses pass by here as well. Plus cabs are easy to find here!
Some cons: 1) the breakfast and 2) Pool & Jacuzzi privacy.
1) The dining area is small (lobby level) and the food selection is limited. I guess this is alright considering that it's a small establishment. Breakfast is continental style: Toast, salad, some cold cuts, cereal. No hot food as their kitchen is not open till noon. Also, the breakfast area only has about 7 tables so if it's crowded, you have to wait. If you want more food options, there are other food places nearby.
2) We love the pool and jacuzzi but the downside was that there was not much privacy because of the proximity from adjacent buildings. If you don't mind ppl in nearby offices looking at you swimming (pool has glass walls all around!), tanning or lazing in the jacuzzi, then it's alright. :)

Great apartment with wonderful cooking equipment

One of the few service apartment in Singapore that actually allow a day booking, it's a wonderful place for a staycation for young dating couple. The fully equipped kitchen is also a plus point for us as eating out has been quite a chore for us as food are repetitive and good food are too expensive particularly in that area. So ascott apartment allow me to cook a valentine dinner for my partner without the hassle of having to mop and cook up after.

Awesome location, quiet and freindly

a walk down memory lane for me. i lived in singapore as a teenager when this building was the tallest on the water front, when marina bay was still on the drawing board, and clifford pier was very much operational. to come back all these years later and stay here was definitely on my bucket list - i'm slowly ticking them off!
if i get the chance, i'll stay here again.
highly recommended, from the crisp white linens, to the gaggenau and bose fixtures, to the ultra-modern bathroom. shame about the view, but you can't have everything...for the price.
