Friendly staff , Non Smoking floor, Comfortable Room, Free internet in Room. Good location ..a short walk to MRT . We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights ariving late on the first night from Dubai. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and free internet was a welcome service.
Nice pool on top floor .
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : A short walk to MRT .. Buy an EZ Link card ( which you charge up ) for easy use on metro and buses

Wonderful to have a washing machine and dryer available for guests. Quite a central location. Booked a double room but on checking in wss given a twin. Had to make several requests for the room we wanted. Staff at reception could have been more helpful in assisting us with our room. The buffet breakfast did not have a good variety or choice of dishes however the dining staff were friendly. Hotel is situated in quite a good location close to the MRT, good eating and shopping places close by. Great to have the washing machine and dryer for guests.

room 805 is a good room. request for it if it is available. it is a corner room. kopitiam, a singapore hawker chain, is located at the same block of the hotel along with another local hawker place, and a 7-11 outlet. The nearest mall is Cathay, just 2 blocks away, with cinemas. Plaza Singapura is also nearby (4 blocks away).
In terms of transportation, taxis are quite expensive so do the MRT. the nearest station is just a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. there are bus stations also nearby.
Nightlife Tip : don't forget to visit clark quay!

Beware of room 501 - it is right beside their mini-conference room and right in front of the male toilet and you will hear the door open and close while inside your room.
Aside from that, the hotel was ok.

I have stayed at Bayview Hotel frequently during the past years, and never been let down. Great with the local Kopitiam close by for tasty, inexpensive, food!

Overall, a great hotel. I would definitely stay there again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you plan to go to Singapore zoo, night safari, Jurong Bird Park, or Sentosa, a bus service is available at a nearby hotel that takes you directly to these locations. Bus passes by bus stop B01 everyday at 9:10 a.m. and 1:10 p.m.
