Great hotel, central and close to MRT station.
Breakfast was awesome and catered for everyone

Although train tunnel work being done at front, there was little or no noise. When this is finished will be even better for travelers. Large rooms hotel staff were friendly. Hubby just reminded me. Downstairs toilets were dirty. Unpleasant experience.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Make sure you get a travelers pass for MRT. Makes it easier to get around and more cost effective.

A nice hotel which is comfortable and clean

The hotel is well located and really nice as a single or a couple. I wouldn't take my family though as the bathrooms were small. Singapore is currently building an MRT station outside of the hotel but it is still accessible and a nice place to stay.

The room was clean and of comfort, remarks written at the special comment box to have it at nearer to the lift was fulfilled.
The bathroom looks quite old, with the basin and bathtub drain stopper removed at the side instead of covering makes it look bad.
Everything else was good especially location. Station MRT Bras Basah was less than 5 minutes walk.
Hotel staff were able to answer our questions, they even helped google some branch location for banks for us and lent us umbrellas cause it was raining.
Shopping Tip:
Orchard Road is very near, however do note that Bencoolen is the end of Orchard road.. so becareful when u take taxis. Orchard Road is a long strecth of one way street.

Hotel is very accessible to the MRT and to the Singapore Flyer. Hotel staff friendly and efficient. There is some inconvenience and noise with building work in progress on the Downtown MRT line (until 2017), didn't bother us that much as we were out most of the day.
Breakfast was fine.
Walking distance to Orchard Road, Little India, Singapore Museum & Raffles Hotel.
