Lovely strategically located hotel
Centrally located, comprehensive facility with nice hotel fee
8.7
Spend a two days one night with my parent at here is never a regretful choice while I am working at this city! It is strategically located with nearby MRT and bus station, while easily accessible to other hotel to take free shuttle service! Haha... The other bonus includes of walking distance of the tourism places which make me can rest well in hotel while parent shopp around on their own! Last but not least,I like their gym facility as they are well modernly equipped within an ambient environment. Before u go for a shower, do drop by their nice sauna for detoxify after a fabulous breakfast!

Good location and big hotel
7.7
Peoples are friendly. It better check in at 2:00pm otherwise it need to wait. Also check in takes a bit long time as there have many customers. The breadfast food is good but crowdy.
Restaurant Tip:
Need to check in at 2:00pm. Big hotel so check in takes a bit long time.

Great Location, Beautiful Lobby, Dated Decor in Ro
Location, Good sized rooms, efficient service
7.7
I was upgraded to a suite (with kitchenette, 2 tv's, sofas etc). Bedroom itself was very spacious (I was wary of the rooms in Singapore being tiny) - but I'm not sure if this is a reflection of the hotel itself or simply of my suite. The hotel has two wings, the standard one, and the more recently upgraded premier wing. As such, in the standard suite, the furniture was all a bit dated, but well maintained. The bathroom was modern (shower and separate bath) as was the kitchen (which I didn't have a chance to use).
Was on 7th floor, so no view. Otherwise, amenities were all in order. Bed was lovely and plush. 2 free water bottles provided.
Internet was included in my room rate, and this functioned well. However, it was only by LAN (wifi only available in Lobby and premier wing) - and the cable was a bit short, it was clearly meant for the desk, I couldn't really lie in bed and surf.
My room was a bit cold for my liking, and I unsuccessfully tried to fiddle with the thermostat settings to make it warmer. Ended up calling reception to help - they sent someone (but he basically did the same thing I did) and it was still freezing the next morning. I was only staying one night so I left it like that, but I did figure out the only real way to heat the rooms is by turning the whole system off and let nature do its job.
The bell boys seem to relish their job - they're extremely helpful.
I did use the swimming pool at 9 in the morning. As others have mentioned, no sun at this time - so it was pretty cold. But I had the whole pool to myself which was lovely / serene. They also run a yoga class at this time for those on the Superior weekend deal, I didn't take it myself, but saw the class, they seemed to enjoy it.
Breakfast (included) was a mix of continental and local cuisine. (toast, bake beans, fresh fruit, pastries, curries, vegetables, etc, etc). There was a lot (A LOT) of choice, and a service to make fresh to order omelettes and noodle soup. Everything
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Location of hotel is amazing for someone with little time in Singapore. Its near everything you ought to get done - Marina Bay, Orchard Road, Clarke Quay (nightlife), and even Sentosa Island.
Do get the Tourist Travel Pass - for unlimited travel across all train/bus networks, as walking is almost unbearable in the summer heat.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile
Best location, Clean, Very good service.
8.7
I tried to find the hotel which can serve all of my criteria. I asked many friends and they suggested me to book the hotel on the Orchard Rd.. But I decided to book the Carlton Hotel after I got into the hotel website and read information once. This hotel are not too crowded and You can access to the MRT easily (you can walk to the Bras Basah , City Hall , and Esplanade)
