Great hotel with helpful staff
Business trips, good rooms
8.3
The hotel staff was both helpful and considering. I did, on the other hand, not fully use what the hotel had to offer. I took a look at the swimming pool, which seemed rather good. The view from the rooms are good. What I did notice was that there were a ton of air personel of certain air companies. So my guess would be that this was one of their main hubs. What I did not like was the fact that printing papers and such cost a gazillion dollars. I cannot recall the pricing, but it was well above one SGD per page. And for a newly arrived exchange student that needed to copy quite a lot of papers ... It was costly to say the least.
Nightlife Tip:
You are centralized within the main area in Singapore. Well worth it. I would recommend watching a movie at Cathay or even walking all the way to Marina Bay Sands.

good hotel and great location
8.3
we got a free upgrade to the premier wing which is newly renovated and thus feel of the place is very good. Room was quite spacious for two, only setback is that the shower facilities, the curtain can be controlled by people outside the shower room, meaning if u are staying with your friends, they may just pull a trick on you and lift up the curtain when u are bathing, and u cannot pull it down unless u go out of the shower room. Breakfast variety was good, just felt that setting of the place was a litte old style restaurant.

Very good hotel, good location, service average
good roms, good location, great gym
8.3
i've stayed there quite a few times. 4 times in last 3 months - total about 20 days.
good location etc and rooms clean and very functional as you'd expect from this level of hotel.
personal service from the hotel, has consistently been very distant... reception staff not friendly and if you do need any changes or assistance to booking alterations - don't expect much support at all and expect to pay. as experienced on a few occasions.
otherwise good hotel.

Great deal & convenient location
Located in a less crowded area and yet easy access to everywhere

we had an early checked in and it took us less than 10 mins to get to our room. walking distance to raffles city and the good shepherd cathedral, mrt station also nearby and cab are easy to find. it's certainly an option to consider during your short visit to singapore.
