good hotel with great location
location, service, availability of smoking rooms

located in between city hall MRT and bras basah MRT stations but i think getting out from the city hall is more comfortable as you will be walking thru air=cond malls to get to the hotel.
rooms are a bit worn down and average toiletries.. (no toothbrush or shaving set)

Lovely hotel with great location

I have been staying for many times in this hotel. So far it was always satisfying. Hotel room is spacious, neat, clean. It has a great view, as well. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful whenever i need them. It is also very easy to get a cab to travel around, or you can also walk to the MRT station, which is nearby and within walking distance.

This hotel has a quiet, clean, neat and spacious room where I can have a relaxing time during my stay. It is very easy to travel around since it is located near to MRT Station, bus stops, and taxi stand. There are a lot of restaurants nearby, as well, so i can choose various kind of food to eat. Overall, it was a great hotel.

Great locations and clean room

We stay in this hotel for 5 days, the location was very good, you can get anywhere very easy. MRT station located just 5 minutes away and food stalls nearby. The free WI fi is only available in the lobby though and the inhouse movie selection is very expensive. But otherwise, we have a pleasant stay

I used to stay at this hotel quite often, generally happy though they don't include the Breakfast in room rate even at S$ 260 for single room or sometimes even higher. Spacious lobby and FO staff and concierge were quite attentive and helpful. No Wifi in the room.
I arrived late night and wanted to place a room service order, ocean trout fish with vege and rice; hotel policy if you want rice instead mashed potatoes, it will be charged extra to your bill and they make no exception; quite unusual and extreme inflexible policies for a hotel of this standard. I decided to dine out at "The Chime" just in front of the hotel. It was great.

stay for 5 nights. was given a room with king size bed on the second night onward as promised during check in which was good.
furnishing of room looks to be more than 15 years n older as the shower head is d old version and hot water control needs to improve for a hotel of this rating. no complimentary internet service and charges of sgd 21.00 for 1 day net service is very expensive among hotels in singapore. that why you see a lot of quest at the lobby to utilise the free internet available there.

The Carlton was central in Singapore which is great for walking everywhere on foot, amenities in hotel were good! Wifi was available in Lobby area. Service was good! I would definitely stay here again!
