Classy and comfortable hotel

Hotel was comfortable. The service there was good and personnel working there were friendly and approachable. Facilities within the hotel like the spa n swimming pool were also good. I was given a free upgrade to a suite room due to the lack of the normal ones, which was great!

The New wing of the hotel is fantastic, room is huge and it has a great Chinese restaurant. This location is just perfect for shopping and commuting as the train station is just across the street. Besides the hotel there's wonderful place named Chijmes that has many choices of cuisine for bars.
Definitely worth it!

the hotel is in very strategical area. with 5 minutes walk to bras basah and city hall mrt and raffles city just across the street. the staff are very friendly as well. the room is alright for the price. overall. i'd recommend for staying here.
Shopping Tip:
Raffles City is just across the street. Or you could browse some interesting wares in Chjimes. They also have several restaurants in there.

Should have better receptionist. Cannot check in on time, delayed for one hour but difficult to get late check out. Room was not served with complementary water and tooth brush.
This was my 4th times staying in this hotel and have recommended it to my relatives first for the convinient location, second for the hospitality of the workers. But I was disappointed this time because the receptionist was not friendly at all.

We travel for 3 persons (group friends) , The hotel located in good location you could walk to China town (10-15 minutes) or even Merlion park (15-20 minutes) if you like to walk. And 5 minutes walk from hotel to Bras Basah MRT station.
The room, bath room and toilet is clean as 4 stars standard , bed is clean and soft, we feel that we want to sleep only..
The swimming pool is very small,also in peak season so many people in the pool, so we walk back to sleep..
Dim Sum in Carlton hotel very nice, and suitable price. We reallize that the price of Dim Sum in Hotel and outside (Kopitiam) not so differ. But the quality and environmental are much different , it's very good experience. The dessert "Custard pao" we don't know how to call. it's very cool, you have to try ..we recommend.
The Dim Sum resturent captain is friendly and good take care to us, we like him.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Expensive in high season and no wifi

Comfortable stay and good location. We were upgraded to a higher floor, and the room was good. They also provide Molten Brown toiletries. Bathroom lights can be turned off except for the one below the sink which makes it comfortable for one who has just woken up.

The hotel is situated in a great part of the city.
Rooms had a good view of the city for a high floor.
The bathroom was great and spacious, with moonsoon shower and a big bathtub.
Cons : Premier club room was disappointing small. It was the same size as a room i had booked for a friend but on a cheaper type. All i had was a higher floor.
Breakfast was disappointing on the premier club.

We have had a very nice experience during trip in Singapore.
We can go everywhere, shopping and sight seeing, only few minutes to go many places from Carlton Hotel. And the Hotel also have a very nice & comfort room for us to rest after shop all day.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Stay at Carlton Hotel so you can go to many tourism places in few minutes time, save your time, and go to as many places as you want during trip in Singapore.
