Changi village hotel, is close to the airport, ideal for short Singapore stop overs, just 15 minutes away from the airport, hotel also runs a shuttle bus;
Staff are very good, hotel has clean rooms and good faclilities, nearby there are food markets for very cost effective dining;
This is my hotel of choice in Singapore for short stay overs;

The hotel was supper clean and quite.
The in house restaurants were excellent and the service very fine with great wine selection.
The view from the upper pool area was outstanding and again very clean.
The staff took care of my travel documents and arranged for the transportation to the airport without any problems.
The hotel security was excellent as well.

An average hotel in a unique part of Singapore
Friendly staff, free shuttle service to airport
5.7
Odd architecture can make for strangely shaped rooms. The shower and tap handles are a little odd too. The rooms could be described as functional, but fine for what they are. The view from the pool area on the 8th floor is pleasant, as is the view on the ground floor dining room, overlooking the local golf range. The various local cafes of Changi Village are within easy walking distance, and the general area around the hotel has a lot of character, from beaches to prisons. The guests are an eclectic mix of tour groups (some large) and people staying on business, serving the various logistics, airlines and other firms located around the airport. One major attraction is the hotel's proximity to the airport. However, don't under-estimate the time it takes to/from, as the runways mean that taxis and the like must take a wide arc around, so it's not as near as it might seem on the map. The hotel is not well served by public transport -- the nearest MRT station, for example, is back at the airport itself. So one is pretty much dependent on taxis for any journeys within Singapore, and that can be pricey, given the hotel's location at the eastern tip of the island. All in all: OK for 1-2 nights' stay, if you need to be near the airport for an early departure, or the like.

We only had one night in between our flights and very much enjoyed staying at Changi Village Hotel. Access to the executive lounge was great, loved sitting on the balcony. Close to the hotel are a lot of open-air restaurant and we had a nice stroll to explore the neighborhood.

Unique hotel with wonderful service

The concierge was very helpful and understanding. The swimming pool although small, has a great location at the top of the building where we can view the sea and planes.
