Great location, clean rooms, lobby a bit outdated

Being situated along Orchard Road, Concorde Hotel is ideal for those who want to be in the middle of it all - shopping and dining is all within reach. If you wish to get outside Orchard Road (to get to Sentosa, for example), simply take the bus or the SMRT as stations for both types of transportation are very accesible.
Room service is a bit slow, our request for a bucket of ice needed to be followed-up twice or thrice. The kiddie pool was dirty and outdated.
Overall, this is still a great hotel but they have to work on updating their common area facilities like the lobby and swimming pools and not only the rooms.
Restaurant Tip:
If you want cheap food, the food court at the basement of the hotel is not too great; you are better off going to Food Republik food courts at Somerset Mall or Takashimaya (both very near the hotel) or the al fresco dining area just outside the hotel where they serve local food like hainanese chicken and all sorts of toppings and noodles.

Things I like the most about Concorde hotel is the location which is exactly in the central shopping area Orchard. Then, the rooms were just newly renovated and the size also big enough for us. The breakfast is quite okay, but not so many variation. The only thing I don't really like is the internet conection is too expensive. Overall I really enjoy my stay and I will definitely will come again to this hotel next time.

this hotel is not a bad deal if you can book in advance for the money, but anywhere at 60% of rack rate or up you haev better options. the pool and especially the gym are great for travellers who want to maintain their workout schedule as the gym has much more equipment than most hotels of similar standing. the lobby area is good to chill and have drinks after work, and there are several good places to eat nearby.
Restaurant Tip:
There are many cheap and quite delicious food options in the ground floor of the building in the food court for those looking to save some money.

good hotel in a very good area
the things i liked about the hotel is the good location @orchard

every times i come to sg mostly i stayed in concorde...becoz the price is not to expensive if i compared with other hotel @orchard ..but the one im not to satisfied is the person @reception..he is not welcoming the guest with smile..and when im asking smth he just answered one word!!!i think its rude
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
if you come to sg its a must to see univelsal studio..its nice reaaly good spot to take a pic

Was good as a businees traveler I normally out from hotel most of the time so dont used most of the facilities of the hotel. Rooms are recently renovsted nice and clean hotel service was good and as I said the best thing is the location on Main Orchad raod..YOu have all shopping,restrurants,clubs on your door step.

Nice room, comfy bed, clean bathroom. Room was newly renovated.

It was and old hotel in an old shopping complex, but the hotel is very well maintained. We enjoyed our 2 nights tired our feet walking the whole orchard. Generally a good stay.

The Concorde is Back
Now renovation complete, just a great place to stay

I rebooked as I like this location, right on Orchard Rd.
Surprise, the fully renovated rooms are just great. Every amenity
one could expect, clean, new TV, & even a DvD player.
and guess what? complimentary Internet. My travelling colleagues
always complain about stupid prices for broadband access.
Well done Concorde, you are a leader in service.
