great location but with smell

location is great.upgraded to a family room. requested for a non-smoking room but the smell was so strong even until the second night. so we request the management to do something with it. spray was being applied we guess, the smell did turn better after that.
we reached the hotel at 2.30pm and were been told that the room was not ready and it takes another 2 hrs to get the room ready. but we were been told that no extention on the check out time was allowed (got to be 12pm)! reason - another group is coming in. we booked the room days before the arrival, but did the previous guest been told that we are arriving on that day as well? this is simply unacceptable.

great location but things are old & service so-so

room is small but is alright. however, things are old, and we booked the room for 2 but only one set of toiletries were given (one toothbrush, one bathrobe)!
moreover, we checked out at 12pm and there were so many guests waiting at the counter for checkout. but there was only one staff on duty at the counter!! waited for nearly 30 mins as some of the guests cut Q, and when it is our turn, can see that the papers (guest check in form, etc) are everywhere on the table! although there are another two staffs serving the guests when it is our turn, the staffs are like having a hard time doing all the works.
giving it at the time of 12pm+ where that is supposed to be the busiest time where a lot of guests will be checking out, how can this be? (only one staff at the counter?)
i will not come back to this hotel for sure.

Lovely Hotel with great location, good service

This hotel has a good location and their services always come with a smile. The room although the bathroom is smaller but the bed room is of acceptable size. This size is good enough for me because i go with my partner and bathroom size is insignificant to me. And the best part is that the price is very attractive for a hotel like this.
Hotel Feature Tip:
This hotel is located in town, although is not so near shopping area like orchard but if traveler wants a more cozy and not too far away from busy shopping area. This is the best choice for it.

The rooms were quite small. The bathroom was small.
The bathtub is quite small. The rooms are cosy
The breakfast in the morning is not very good. There was not much variety
The check in was quite slow. But check out was fast.
The pool is ok only

We got the rooms right at the end of the building and due to the structure of the building, which was slightly curved in, the room was so small. It is however a great location, easy access to the city for shopping and nightlife.

Overall the experience is ok but not an unforgettable stay.
It is well equipped with amenities (sauna, pool, gym) even though they're not treated with the care you'd expect from a 4stars hotel.
Location is ok but not very close to MRT and no ATM in the range of 2/3 km.
Rooms are comfortable and clean. No more than that.

Superb value, good location
Easy access to leisure spots on out yet away from the noise.

Superb service at reception & check out. Excellent rooms, high standard of fittings. Service throughout was excellent from doorman, concierge, restaurant staff & reception.
Would always give this hotel my first option on a return to Singapore.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The buffet is of good standard and wide range, the staff willing to be of service. The concierge knows the area very well & always helpful from a short cut walking to city to getting a taxi.

Terrible Hotel Small Rooms with no Internet

i have learned my lesson, never believe the reviews until you experienced it yourself. the room is very small with no free wifi, the breakfast is terrible, it's like having breakfast in a refugee camp. the only compliment i can give is the big lcd tv and it's near clark quay. for a this kind of price i can find a much,much better hotel with good breakfast.
Nightlife Tip:
It's near Clark Quay where many restaurant with live band.
