Very small rooms, bit far from Orchard Road
5
Bit of a disappointment after such good quality at hotels in Malaysia. Friendly check-in staff but extrememly small room and bathroom. Clean though. No view to speak of. Hotel a bit dated. Disappointing breakfast selection
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Singapore Flyer is a must!

The room is of a decent size but a bit old fashion and smelt abit funny. The bed is too soft and not very comfortable.
The breakfast is of limted varieties., Basic items such as bread, croissants, muffins, and eggs and cereals. ect.

Friendly , frustrated staff, poorly cleaned rooms
4
i arrived early morning ,when taken to my room the bed looked crinkled. i went to shower and one of the towels was' dirty' with what looked like blood.
when i showed this to the reception next morning they gave me an upgrade.
my original 'superior room' was basic.
on the 2nd night the computer system malfuntioned and iwas unable to get into my room until 9.45 pm very frustrating.

great location but small room
close to many restaurants
7.3
The hotel was very expensive, but most hotels in the area are. I was orginally placed in a smoking room with 2 double beds, but after I asked to switch I was placed in a new room immediately. Be aware that wifii is not free, you must pay per day.

Great location but overpriced small rooms
5.7
Over the years I have stayed at several Copthorne/Miracle hotels. While the Copthorne King's in Singapore does have an excellent location, an easy walk from Robertson Quay and Clarke Quay, it is overpriced. The rooms are small and the bath tubs are just about big enough for a toddler. While Singapore is generally an expensive place, I do find it unacceptable to have to pay $20 a day for wifi - which on one day of my stay was not working with no refund offered. The service was generally good, although I did ask for my television to be repaired and after 3 hours decided to do it myself.
Nightlife Tip:
Check out Brewerkz for a wide range of beers (at the usual insanely high Singapore prices)

Convenient Location but small room

Room facilities are satisfactory. Please consider changing new refrigerators, not cold and looks old. Water flow is too small for hotel use.

nice hotel, nice room and good service
7
Arrive at the hotel around 12plus in the afternoon and was attended by a friendly staff at the reception counter who assist me to check in straight away. I was allocated room 305 which i then requested for another room on a higher floor, which the staff politely inform me that as it is still during their hotel checkout time, no rooms on the high floor is available, Which i find it is understandable. The staff at the reception counter then offer to let me have wifi for free, which i do not really need as i personally have internet data plan but i do appreciate their effort and service. Stay at Room 305 and checking out was a breeze oso. Overall I had a nice stay at the hotel and was surprised as i had read alot of negative reviews about this hotel, which i personally do not find any of it even near. I will choose to stay at this hotel if i ever want to again.

Hotel to stay on business trips
9
Good hotel but not for a family with young kids. The room was clean, breakfast was nice. But the rooms are not big enough for families and there are no any kids channels on tv (not a big deal though). I don't have anything bad to say about this hotel but it's definetly the place to stay on business trips.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
We had a lovely walk along the river cross the road from the hotel. There are lots of restaraunts and it's very safe for children as it's cars free area.
