Very quiet and romantic
Away from the hustle and bustle of Orchard Road (main tourist area)

enjoyed a nice staycation (stay vacation) with the family. away from the busy street of singapore and yet in own country - did not lose any anytime with travel and immigration clearance!

Lovely Hotel with friendly service"
Centrally located with easy access to Orchard, Clarke Quay and links to Expressways (AYE & CTE)

was quite disappointed that the clubroom area was quite small. though i had indicated that the room booking was for honeymoon couples, there was no special welcome. room was cosy. comfortable beds. like the view from balcony, albeit small area.
car park attendant automatically waived the car park fee for the wedding car. frontdesk staff gave complimentary parking ticket for our car only upon request at checkout.
stuffs in the toilet was pretty much standard. would be good if the bath tub can include the shower head with the hose. currently only the rain shower and tab is available.
also, there is no rail bar holder to hold when getting out from the bath tub.

an excellent, albeit old hotel - nicely renovated. good facilities for an international hotel, with old world charm. the penang food buffet was a special treat, as was the proximity of tiong bahru food centre with wonderful local hawker cuisine.

breakfast + internet per night is which i think is way overpriced.

near to the famous brewerkz where that serves good ice cold beer, freshly made from the brewery. however you have to go there early as the place is quite pack on the weekend night.

The hotel is old but room is clean and comfort. Well trained staff, quick check in and out. Car park is small and almost full but the staff still able to find a parking lot for us. Free parking as complementary for hotel guests. Breakfast spread is limited though the food is nice.

Great facilities like Steam bath, Jacuzzi, Sauna Bath

It was a quiet and restful stay. The facilities for relaxing were great. Alongside the pool, they have a jacuzzi, a sauna and steam bath facilities. There is also a rather well equip gym for travellers who itch to exercise.
Although the breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing in terms of quality of food.

Great Hotel Location.
Good room sizes, good locations, very good for business.

the hotel is very well located, you can actually walk to it if you feel liked it from raffles place, a nice 15 to 20 minute walk next to the quays. the one issue i had was that the beds mattresses are as hard as cement. easy solution, ask the front desk for a mattress top and this will solve the problem.
