Nothing to complain about

Was irritated that I was not given a queen size bed despite requesting one when booking. I did however receive an upgrade to a deluxe room (Although I am not sure how it differs) as compensation.

Great room, great location with friendlly staffs.
Hotel rooms very nice, clean and quiet and a decent view from balcony however the bed sheets was a bit stained.
Housekeeping was quite slow, got to make a call and waited for about an hour for someone to have the bed sheet to be changed.

really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. walking distance to clarke quay where the bars and clubs are at. accessible to orchard/somerset as there are straight buses and is really not far form the hotel.

I and my partner stayed here for 3 days. This is not the first time I visited this hotel however the service is very bad this time. We requested to borrow the convert charger from the first day of arrival and until when we check out, it is still unavailable. I am wondering with the size of this hotel is that large, why dont you prepare sufficient charger to give for your guest? Asking us to spend to buy it in the souverni shop is not correct way while we only need it for 3 days. The room is very small this time. Bathroom is super small either. We are completely not satification this time.
Shopping Tip:
Nearby the China Town area where u can find the cheap products and the Buddest Temple there.

Absoloutley crap!! Extra 40$ for breakfast!!

Superior room?? Where? Seriously! We arrived(four guys and four rooms booked)and were given the room card with no offer to be shown to the rooms or baggage offered to be taken up,they put us all in rooms with two single beds?? I changed mine to a king for no extra $ but my three mates were not bothered, when we booked we seen the price and all agreed on it then came up the hidden extras,plus this and that,taxes etc...??
Any way, I would expect a lot better even in expensive Singapore!! The carpets were old and stained, the whole place had a dirty feel about it!! And to top it off, breakfast is an extra 40$ , and no free WI FI?..(27$) !!
Hotel Feature Tip:
Nothing at all to recomend about this hotel,from the dull and less than helpful staff to the dated pool and dirty rooms!! maybe it would have been nice a long time ago when it was new and there was some pride about the place!! Oh, and in the bar down stairs there is a female singer who screeches out some tuneless when she was not loudly argueing with her partner.....friggin awfull!! I have stayed in a lot of hotels over the years but this one really blows!!

Nice hotel when everything works

When you get in late at night, as i did this trip, it was a first that I could not get into my room. The key card just would not work and assistance needed to be sought. They could not get it going either. Reception provided and upgrade which was good till the next morning when shower would not work and the plumber had to be called. Service and response by all was terrific, but in reality these things should not happen.
