We recieved and upgrade when we arived and free breakfast as well. The staff are very helpful the hotel is clean great views great shopping centre and eating areas in hotel complex rooms are small but bed and pillows very comfortable could of done with a lounge or lounge chair to sit on in room. Traveled by MRT everywhere station is very close.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Sentosa Island is must see Universal Studios a free bus from the Swisshotel, right next to the Fairmont takes you there and back only for visitors with passport and imagration card(you get this entering the country) Marinal Bay sands, amazing you can go to the top but be aware the drinks are very expensive $18 for a beer $8 for glass coke but amazing views. Buy a MRT visitors card can get one for a few days the MRT takes you most places clear instructions where to go and get off.

The hotel staff were very friendly. They would acknowledge me by making eye-contact and smiling or saying hello every time we walk past by them. The check-in procedure was quick and efficient. The staff was clear in answering my clarification and addressed me by my name. The room was elegantly designed, though i would've preferred a more modern contemporary look. The room came with a private balcony that overlooked the hotel's pool and at night, we were treated to magnificient views of the Singapore skyline. The toiletries, supplied by Miller Harris, were lovely-scented and refreshing, as comapared to other hotels optimg for L'occitane products.

I stayed for 1 night in Fairmont Singapore and took the deluxe room on the #21 floor. View was beautiful at night as it overlooked the Singapore Flyer and there was fireworks that night I was there so it was really beautiful.
Our staycation was due to my daughter's 1 year old birthday event happening at Asian Market Cafe so we took a room as well. The hotel staff was very friendly and even gave my daughter the exclusive Fairmont doll along with balloons. Overall, they were very helpful, friendly and excellent service provided.
Room was comfortable and clean even though parking was quite costly. Loved the pool as well! The hotel is very centrally connected to trains and buses so should not be a problem for those taking the public transport.

the fairmont hotel in singapore is located in a fabulous area. attached to raffles city shopping centre, which has great eateries and good shopping. also conveniently located above the city hall mrt station. easy to walk to many areas, as well as convenient on the mrt with minimal stops to many other great shopping areas and attractions. the staff are extremely helpful which makes travelling with young children so much easier.

this was the third time we stayed at the fairmont singapore , again not dissapointed in the service and frendliness of all the staff especiall the little door man who is always there and always smiling ready to shake hands with us older clients. the breakafst was extreemly nice there was nothing one could not get all we had to do is ask even nice capuchino if you wanted . we did however find south wing a lot more up to date as far as bathroom and view, we were in the north wing last time , and will request the north wing next time.
thank the staff for us on their efficiency and curtesy.
Restaurant Tip:
Any one staying at the Fairmont Singapore , shoul make sure to have a meal at their retaurant. Tom

the room on lower level was pretty old, the bath tub didn't work well so i had to request to change room. the room at the upper level is much better but still i personally think it is not up to standard, given singapore is an international business city.
location is great as it is connected to the shopping mall and there's a wide variety of dining choices.
