The room was always clean. The staff always smiled. It is so close to MRT station. Starbuck is downstairs so that you can use the free wireless there while you are having a cup of coffee or waiting for friends. It is so convenient to walk to Suntec City and other places of interest. There are lots of shops and restaurants of various choices. It is so close to Raffles Hotel that you can go over there to have a taste of the colonial architecture.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Walk to the nearby sightseeing places through underground tunnels.

The location is excellent--the hotel is attached to the Raffles City shopping center (and the Raffles Hotel is across the street). There is also an MRT (subway) station at the shopping center. The room was also extrememly clean with plenty of amenities.

I can't think of anything--I made a comment afterwards that if I were in Singapore on business, I would definitely stay here at the Fairmont. We had a wonderful stay here on vacation as well!

The room was beautiful! The king-size bed was extremely comfortable, there was a modern glass working desk, and the chaise made lounging around even more comfortable. From the Raffles City shopping center MRT station (which is a very short walk from the hotel--you actually walk through the shopping center), you can go to other places such as the main shopping district on Orchard Road (3 stops away).

Travel tip : The financial district along the Singapore River and the Marina (some hotels are still under construction--to be completed sometime in 2010--so the views aren't quite as pretty at the moment) are about 15 minutes away on foot, but we would recommend taking a taxi to these areas in the afternoon, having something to eat, and then enjoying the river view in the evening while walking across a bridge and back to the hotel.

Location fab as easy to walk everywhere.

The most difficult hotel we've ever had to find! Not very well sign posted - even the taxi drivers didnt seem to have a clue (and we were right around the corner at the time!)

Great hotel, lovely rooms and staff very attentive and helpful. Beautiful entrance - we went over Christmas and they had a beautiful 30+foot tree which smelled divine! Location is fab as it is attached to a mall which has a food court on the lowest level, very handy seeing as the breakfast offered by the hotel is very pricy.

Travel tip : If you are driving to Singapore from Malaysia make sure you understand the auto-pass, no one explained it to us and we had to find a 7/11 Store to add money to it before we could get our car out of the car park.

The front desk had everything ready for us when we arrived and the lobby was decked out for the Christmas season including live music. The room was very comfortable and the bedding was plush and crisp.

We had a dripping faucet/shower head in the tub, but it could only be heard in the bathroom. My daughter accidently left her pajamas when we departed for our cruise. We called and were told they had it. Upon returning after our cruise, it could not be found.

My family and I enjoyed out stay at the Fairmont in Singapore. The staff was professional and welcoming. Our connecting rooms were clean, comforting and tastefully decorated and the children enjoyed the flat screen tv. The hotel was in a very convenient location for shopping along Orchard Road and is just across the street from the famous Long Bar at Raffles, home of the Singapore Sling. It's also within walking distance to the Singapore Flyer. The girls especially liked the fact that it is attached to a shopping mall which also has an access to the subway system.

Restaurant Tip : There are several restaurants in the attached shopping mall ranging from fast food to the exclusive eateries.

We had three nights in Singapore after a long cruise and wanted to continue to enjoy our creature comforts so we decided to stay at the Fairmont. It met and exceeded our expectations as it was well located across the street from Raffles and the Hop On Hop Off bus stop. The facilities were excelllent and the staff were very attentive. We would definitely stay there on our next trip to Singapore.

Travel tip : Hop on hop off bus was agreat way to see Singapore initially.

Great Location, good sizes very clean rooms, efficient staff

Rooms getting a little old and tired

I would recommend the Fairmont Hotel Singapore to the Business and leisure traveller alike. It's location on top of the Raffles city shopping center and subway station, make it a very convient place to stay. Major tourist areas, shopping & resturants are just a short walk or taxi ride away. My only complaint is that the rooms are starting to get a bit old and tired.

Restaurant Tip : Excellent cheap local meals can be had in the Food Court in the shopping centre below

Stay in the hotel was awesome...Staff was very friendly, every evening, cleaning services would come in for a turn over service, topping up the ice and whatever was needed. The location was very good too, connected to the Raffles City mall was very convenient....restaurants, shops and a supermart all a short walk from the hotel lobby. I will definitely be staying there on my visit to Singapore again.

I have been to many of the 5 Star hotels in Singapore but the Fairmont hotel is my favorite. Whenever I stay at the Fairmont, I am very pleased about the large, comfortable rooms (especially the Signature rooms), the attentive and friendly staff, the good service and the extremly convenient location (above MRT and shopping center). Breakfast is very good and particularly enjoyable when taken at the pool area. I can definitely recommend the Fairmont hotel.

I didnt regret my choice of staying at the Fairmont Hotel.Aside from it being a first class hotel,its within the Raffles Convention Center which is very convenient .Its at the center of everything like shopping,MRT,food court,nice restaurants,the famous New Asia Club located at the top of the hotel,where we had a grand time dancing the night away.But most of all,what i appreciated most is its proximity to the Catholic church.The hotel staff are superb.So what can i say?My stay has been perfect and i will always recommend it to my friends.I shall return for sure!

Stayed on the executive floors which was great. The hotel room view was fantastic, esp at nite. The room is spacious, with modern furnishings and great breakfast at the Pregos.

The hotel was having some paint work going on, so we had to bear with the paint/thinner stench for a few days

This is a great hotel for both business or pleasure. Will definitely stay here again next time. The executive lounge is also great, with a lot of refreshment and fabulous view of the Marina area.Only that we had wished the internet connection was free as well. The only complimentary internet was at the lounge area. So if u want to use the internet in your room, you will have to pay for it.

Excellent hotel with first class facilities. Close to the Raffles Shopping and Convention Center. Also, the location is at the heart of the city so almost anything that one would want is within walking distance.

The rooms are a bit pricey, but that's the price to pay for such an up-scale hotel. The in-house movies were not activated in the first instance, so I had not bothered with it during my stay.

I was booked for a 2 night stay at the hotel and was pleasantly surprised with the courteous staff, more so because I was upgraded to a Deluxe room! The room and amenities are top-notch,including a very reliable broadband service. As usual, I had no problems with regard to payment as everything went smoothly - Agoda did an excellent job to facilitate this - thank you!

the room is quite big and comfortable. At level 13 pool facing room, I still have a restricted view of the marina bay. Room renovation is good. The hotel is on top of a big shopping complex and mrt station. So there is plenty of food outlet to choose from (at different price range) and good transportation to other place.
