Very friendly staffs, nice spacious rooms, clean bathrooms for a very cheap price near red light district of the city The receptionists are very accommodating. we thought we could check-in at 2 pm yet they provided us rooms as early as 7am. The rooms are neat and clean. Im very particular with bathrooms and I wasn't disappointed with what we had during our stay-OK... Lots of food outlets nearby and SEVEN/Eleven as well. near the red light district of Singapore. But, the place is still safe... Super walking distance from the nearest MRT.

affordable, staff ok, close to bus stn. for it's price? can't complain hotel is located at Geylang, not a very nice area but the location isn't bad as it is just a few minutes away from a bus stop. Room rates are affordable and I can't complain for it's price. If you can afford and not on a budget then I guess this hotel won't be an option but if you are then you might want to consider checking this hotel out. They are not bad at all.

the room is clean n tidy, worth the price, good location with friendly staff. didnt have any prob in finding the location just 1 MRT from Changi international airport terminal 2 to nearest Al-Junaid or Kallang station. heaps of good street food within just 5 mins access. rooms are within affordable price range with all basic requirements. and specially didnt have any prob in making a reservation with AGODA just b4 a day of travel. i would like to stay in one of the fragrence hotel in my future visits...

Lifts to all floors. Not too noisy Just one night stayed, so not really able to give a long term assessment but what I found suited my purpose, a one night transit stay.
Hotel Feature Tip : Ignore the man in the hotel lobby, offering a taxi back to the airport. He wanted twice as much as a normal taxi, easily obtained after a short walk from the hotel.

Excellent value for money. Easy to get to CC. None - for the price you cannot argue. The hotel was excellent value for money. Room was clean and a good size. Reception were very friendly and helpful. Simple to get into the centre of Singapore with a short and cheap train ride. Reviews who say it was in the middle of the red light district, this is true but it feels safe to walk around and we had no trouble.
Travel tip : Pick up your food in China Town night market as the food is excellent. Try the Curried Roti bread for breakfast (a short walk from the hotel on the way to the MRT).

Very friendly and helpful staff - especially the manager. Complaints were addressed immediately Hotel was in the Red light district.
The TV was stuck to one channel.
Towels were tiny and flimsy.
All in all good value for money. I guess you get what you paid for!
Staff were very competent - unusual at this price point.
Restaurant Tip : Lots of cheap, excellent restaurants and food outlets - Chinese, Indian, Thai - within a block of the hotel.

Eeverything is ok for the hotel 2 stars for people just want to stay for sleeping.
But it's too far from MRT and I want to say that the reception lady one is bad speaking and not friendly which I don't like her very much. I think i will change to the new place next time.

1.budget hotel 2.house keeping staffs are very nice. 3.twin bedrooms are better than queen bedrooms 1. front desk staffs are not well trained and impolite. especially that chinese old lady and that malay night shift manager. they dont have a good management and no communication. We have triple confirmed our booking with them at the night before we went singapore. However, when we arrived there, they havent hold the rooms for us!!! we originally ordered 4 twin bedrooms but then we can only got 4 rooms in different floor and 2 of them are queen bedrooms. Their system are so messy. 2. very very far away from MRT station (25mins walk distance), bus station (15mins walk distance) for budget travel is ok as long as you have enough time to walk down to the mrt / bus stop.
Nightlife Tip : single girl should not choose this hotel as it is located in the red light area

easy to catch bus straight to orchard road in no time at all a bit of a walk to mrt....so catch the bus rooms were adequate and clean...no problem with anyhing

Not family orientated..... The Fragrance Chrystal Hotel is one of a number under the "Fragrance" label in the area. Situated in the heart of the red light district, this is not your family hotel..... However, it also makes for a interesting walk around. The facilities are basic - you get what you pay for, but the staff are genuinly helpful. The rooms are stark with not bed side lights and small space for clothes but had international tv channels and a good size bathroom. For the price, a good budget hotel and close to the MRT and many restaurants.
Restaurant Tip : Just around the corner are a great assortment of restaurants and convenience shops

Close to the action. Friendly staff mostly thai people on the street of the crystal. Prefer staying on lorang 16 with more chinese people wandering around ;-).
Small rooms, even superiour is tiny Good for action in geylang, clean and safe. it's a basic short time hotel, but worthy for staying a few days. Staff are very helpfull.
Nightlife Tip : Bring some johnny's :-)
