Easy Connectivity, Good Location The hotel is very clean & neat. Room size is also good for this price when compaired to others in nearby location. The staff is very helpful, specially smart girl(Thin one) in reception. She always serve you with simle, which makes day. Just this thing I felt not good about was that they have very strict check in & check out Policy. Even when rooms are available, they wont give you room till 3pm and it is their check in time.
Hotel Feature Tip : If you are reaching in the morning, expect check-in only after 3pm in any circumstances or be prepared to pay per house charges for early check in.

Travel very easy and affordable. To receive updates on when the employees do not see beaming And rooms with a view not smell clean. Overall, I am satisfied with the price and travel to the hotel. Recommended that members want to use this service at the hotel. Because travel quite get comfortable.

not only ecomomic, the hotel is clean and tidy. close to eating places at geylang. Only 15 minutes walk to MRT station. Staff are friendly and helpful.
All room facilities are working and running well. Hotel is rather noisy with people walking around and taking during night time. Air conditioning is also noisy cause the indoor unit is less that one meter from the bed. The room is tiny, no space for long stay guest's baggages. If you frequently travel to singapore whether alone or with couple for business or vacation short stay, I am sure this is the best hotel you have to stay. As returning guest, I always find the hotel's quality standard are kept consistently from time to time. the hotel is worth to be recommended to travellers.
Hotel Feature Tip : Registration is simple and easy to find the room assigned. Room facilities is moderate, instant coffee and drinking water are provided at the room including the hot water making kettle. corridor are bright and clean but sometimes smell the cigarettes.

transportation to the hotel and from there to the airport is easy,
the staff speaks fluent Engish and actually cares about your worries of course the geylang district is a bit of habbit to usual trevellers, but no problems whatsoever finally the stay was a full success, the hotel is clean and calm, two lifts will get you to your room.
Further the roomservice is excellent, towels and beds are made up every day, no matter then you leave your accomondation.
The bus stop is just behuind the corner and the mrt station is located within a reasonable distance.
Not one thing about the hotel itself is to worry about.

The hotel condition is good. It's clean and the staff is enthusiastic. However, with this price, the room is too small, and there is not any comb in the room. I don't understand why? Over all,I think the hotel is good.

Good location- a short walk from an MRT station
Food is easily accessible Small bathroom with no shower enclosure This hotel is definitely no-frills, but that's ok if you're just going to sleep in it. Having said that, it is clean, the staff is efficient and helpful, the daily coffee a pleasant provision. It is easily accessible by MRT or bus, and very near bargain-center Bugis. While it's in Geylang, this hotel is located in the outer part of the district, thus is relatively free from noise and foot traffic.
Travel tip : Fresh fruit stands are a few minutes walk away, as well as an internet cafe in case you find the wi-fi charge in the hotel too high.

extremely affordable, close to the shops/Cafes/Bars, friendly staff not that clean, 5 minutes walk to the train station, can be a bit noisy depending on the room location. I was on transit for the first time through Singapore for 24 hours, so i wanted to stay some where cheap close to the city. Luckily i found this hotel through agoda's webiste, since i had accumulated points through agoda i got the room for much cheaper. some of the main features i have already mentioned in pros and con and one more i thing ,this area is not really suitable for family with kids.

its easy to find the location and near from airport for budget hotel......this hotel is ok....even small room but the room is clean......good for transit hotel or for one day stop over. It's easy to find the location by MRT .

The best part of this hotel is an affordable price for the travelers. I can saved money for my shopping. That was great. The room is quite small. The accommodation is not quite well enough. The location is pretty far from the Orchard road...so sad. Ok...you all, this is the first time for me at the Fragrance Hotel-Emerald which located at the Geylang road. I attracted to book this hotel because of the price. I think this hotel is quite OK for this price range which is great for all shopper's selection. Especially, for the gals who love shopping and want to save pocket money to spend at the shopping street.
Hotel Feature Tip : For those who travel by a Taxi, please tell the Taxi driver that you are heading to the Geylang 6 because it is the one-way street, so the Taxi will not confuse. Sometimes, it's quite difficult to communicate with the Taxi driver because the language accent. So, if it possible, please prepare the hotel map and address to show to the Taxi. That's all. Have a great time in Singapore everyone!

Cheap, clean, modern, no frills hotel.
15 mins metro ride out of town.
Lively, less westernised location in Singapore.
Good access to airport. About a 15 minute walk to the metro station. The room might be cheap but it is a completely normal budget hotel. I've stayed in worse that cost far more in other countries. Located very near the nightlife (restaurants, normal bars, adult bars) of the Geylang district but the hotel itself is quiet. After the sanitised mall culture of Singapore it is worth getting a few metro stops out to see what is probably a more genuine Singapore. Direct access out to the airport too in about 30 mins. The metro station is a bit of a walk, but it is mostly along main roads and did not feel unsafe.

you can keep your luggage here free, even you had check out from the hotel. I stay in this hotel on weekdays, very quiet, so I feel comfort here. This hotel quite nice for this price. But you must check the room especially around the TV and on the table, because I found about 2-3 small fleas. They are very annoyed.
But, overall I'm very glad with this hotel because I can keep my luggage here FREE, even you had check out from hotel. So, don't worry for travellers that have flight in evening and want to spend holiday more longer.
Restaurant Tip : You can try Bakut Teh near from hotel.

Very clean and friendly staff. Close to great eating places. The only con would be that its in the redlight district but take into account that none of that is greatly visable ,unless you are out walking late at night.Did not worry us at all and there were families staying in hotel. would stay again as its great for an overnighter or if you are travelling with small amount of luggage.Rooms small but would definately choose deluxe room or even pay for family room to get a little extra space. Great food within 5 nins walk, Felt very safe.Excellent friendly staff.Good value.Taxis not that expensive to airport about the same to zoo and botanical gardens. Around $20 for taxi.
Travel tip : food is great anywhere around this area but none available from hotel
