clean, effective use of space, OK location a little bit small and free wireless would have been nice, bad mattress We enjoyed our stay here. While it was a little bit on the small side, it was the average size of rooms at that budget. The space which was there was used effectively. The biggest con against this hotel was that the mattress was broken, so there was a major dip in the middle. Not very good for your back...

Near to the MRT station (EW10); Food & Internet service provided. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. They trying to understand the problems with the guest and actions according to the guest needs. The room price is very reasonable if compare to the other hotels and facilities are complete and the location is very near to the MRT station. The hotel look old but still clean. Its very easy to find good food near the hotel as many available in food street and the prices also reasonable.
Restaurant Tip : Food Prices are reasonable.

The room and facilities is quite OK. For the location, there is a bit far from MRT, so we need to take a bus after that. Actually the hotel is not very good, but it very value for money, especilly for mysefe. We can find the traditional food around there, especially at night time.

The location is close, within short walking distance, to all kind of night life activities in Geylang. The bath room does not have shower curtain thus a bit inconvenient for subsequent use of toilet. The hotel is of good value for money. Location wise, it is about 10 minutes by walking to Kallang MRT station(the same MRT line from Changyi Airport). Dining out and entertainment consideration, it is within short walking distance that one could find the kind of food/activities (particularly night life type) most prferred. The hotel is offset from the main road that one could find a quiet place for sleep having exhausted a night's outing. Overall, a very good budget hotel for all kind of people.
Restaurant Tip : Beer drinking at roadside cafe is really enjoyable with people come and go.

Reasonable room rate,Good service mind staffs Location near the red zone,The room is too small. This is the one good budget hotel where suitable for the tourists who prefer to travell more than stay in the room,
Although it's located in the red zone area of Singapore,but the atmosphere around the hotel quite well.
Hotel Feature Tip : I recommend this hotel for the one good choice to stay in Singapore for a few day.It located near many bus stop and easily reach MRT (EW-10,Kallang).

Near to Kallang METRO station. About 10 to 15 minutes walk. Peaceful area. Staff not very co-operative. For the budget this hotel is OK. You can take a metro from airport and get off at ALJUNIED station. Take a bus numbers 62 or 100 and get off at OPP MASJID HAJI MOHD SELLAH and wlk down to the hotel about 100- 200 meters walk.
You can take a taxi from airport. I stayed during OCtober 2009.

The hotel is clean, both public area and room Relatively far from nearest Kallang MRT station It is located in Red-light Geylang area, but the environment of Fragrance Emerald Hotel is quite "clean" both inside and outside hotel, on the way to Kallang MRT station we only passed restaurants and stores, no pub or discotheque around. For non-muslim, many Chinese restaurants around. unfortunately, if u r in hurry, it takes about 15 minutes walk to nearest Kallang MRT station and the hotel is far from any attraction of Singapore (except Geylang nite-life)
Nightlife Tip : If you like nite-life, this hotel is the right place to stay, close to nite-life area but the hotel itself is "clean" and peaceful.

Clean, near the MRT and reasonable price I think there is none for this hotel The cheap hotel with clean room and safety environment. I'll be back there for sure soon.
Hotel Feature Tip : This hotel near the MRT to go everywhere in Singapore that you want because it link with all route. There is my favourite restaurant at Lor 8 Mongkok Dim Sum. Don't miss it!!

convenient access to restaurants and shops on red light district, noise from the hall way it is budget hotel which is good if you are traveling alone or backpacking. There are plenty of restaurants and shops in a few minutes walk. Train is a bit far (about 15 minutes) but ok to walk. The only complain I have would be the noise that kept me awake at night.
