Nice hotel, nice rooms

room was smaller compared to our previous stay, but was definitely bigger compared to the room in fragrance ruby.
complimentary water and nice appliances (electric kettle, hair dryer and lcd tv). heated water was also available.
bathroom was large enough, though we didn't have a shower curtain.
odd thing is when we were checking-in, the guy at the reception requested all of our passports, manually entered the details in the computer, and made us all fill up this registration form. first time i experienced that. no real issue though - just that the registration took a while since we were a large group (13 people). might be a way to make the process smoother in the future.

This hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the nearest MRT Station (EW10 Kallang). Along the way, you can stop by a supermarket called FairPrice to stock up on water & snacks. Lots of good foodshops around, especially a HK-style dim sum place called Mongkok.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Don't forget to try your luck at Marina Bay, which is just a few MRT stations away (red route).

Basic budget hotel. Staff friendly enough. Beds hard and rooms are small which is fine for a short stay.

Muslim Indian restaurant about 2 blocks down is fantastic

Nice Hotel near mrt and bus station

We like the hotel even if the rooms are small because it is near mrt and bus station. Outside the hotel there are many restaurant where you can eat at reasonable price. The staffs are helpful and assisted us getting to the tourist spots in singapore. Over all our stay was pleasant.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you want to see all the best in singapore you should wake up early and plan your trips to avoid wasting time.

the location was ok though it is said that geylang is the red-light district. it is only far to reach the nearest mrt station, kallang, especially if you are with small kids, but anyway there is a very near bus stop and we always took bus to go to the mrt station. we found no things harmful for the kids as what we were afraid of before. the receptions were nice and helpful when we asked for direction and the room is clean.
