a simply hotel with a good location
for tight budget and sleep only

stain on the changing bedsheet one day,there have some cleaning staff talking about the guests stay in the hotel around 9am on two morning which is quite annoying.
one night,my bathroom lighting is not functioning well. so i ask the reception to ask the technician to fix it on the following day,they let me wait 5 mins in the room to fix it on the spot which won my heart.
it's a hotel for sleep only in a short term.

The price of the room and the location of the hotel made it attractive. The front staff were friendly and helpful. Easy and cheap to get around the main attractions and shopping places in Singapore by taxis, mrt or buses from the hotel.
The room is clean and small with all the basic comforts and they were happy to provide more pillows. The walls are thin as we could here some people talking and walking loudly on our first night. However the next two nights were fine - quieter guests!

just what i needed..
the hotel personnels are great and accomodating, basic stuffs you need are present: towel, soap/toothbrush, coffee, nice bed,.

our room just had this strange odor but was tolerable. i asked front desk where we could get water for the coffee and surprisingly just from the faucet in the bathroom, i think tap water is safe in singapore (if i'm right).frontdesk answered our requests inmediately.
the room is just simple, a tv on the wall perfectly positioned, sheets were changed everyday. so, just what to expect with the price.
pretty good deal, and it'll be great if they have their own wifi.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Go for a sightseeing in the morning till 11am then go back to hotel for a noontime break. it's really hot in singapore. bring own bottled water coz it's too expensive. get your own ezlink card for transportation.

The location is very strategic. Many direct bus to central place, like orchard, bugis, and vivo and many restaurants near by.
But the hotel is quite near from temple, when they do their ritual, you can smell it from lobby and can fill your room.

I found that staying in the Fragrance Hotel-Rose was wonderful and relaxing. Although the room is small but it is clean and the beds are comfortable. The services rendered by the staff are highly satisfied and the counter staff are very friendly, welcoming and efficient.

Forced to wait for more than 15 minutes! :(

(1) Upon arrival, we were forced to wait by the receptionist for more than 15 minutes before we can register for a room.
(2) When other group tour arrived, they were registered immediately and we were put on hold until the other group finished with the registration. This really makes me furious!
(3) Other than this, the room are clean.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Try booked near Bugis road or Chinatown road. Save traveling time.
