Location cleanliness and value ask for room on the rear side of hotel It is very noisy on street side The rooms are small but adequate with the cleanliness good The T V was old but in line with the cost The air con was old and noisy The staff obliging to a degree but not over helpful They could not direct me to a laundry

Cheap,everything works,cheap eats close by.. No breakfast,extremely small rooms, red-light district, no western eateries in immediate area. Singapore is an expensive city/country..This hotel is very affordable but very limited in services it provides.For the same price in Indo or Malaysia, you can get a 4 or 5 star hotel. In Australia, this hotel is very similar to the The area is also smack bang,no pun intended, in the heart of the red light district..IThe staff are friendly and the rooms are clean and cheap but if you can afford a more upmarket hotel - do it! Unfortunately my 2 month trek ended in Singapore and this is all I could afford! Singapore is a clean and modern city but it's also more expensive then Australia etc..Overall, a cheap hotel if you need it..Oh, the MRT is about 10mintues walk away, which I dont think is all that close! Done plenty of walking in my two months and I found this a real annoying crossing a major 4 lane ring road.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Cross a major road and jump on the MRT at Aljunied Station EW9 on the map.. 3 or 4 stations to either Raffles or Marina Bay.

20 min. from the airport by taxi. From the metrostation Aljunied it's very easy to get to airport. A lot of places to eat local food. Hotel room is clean. Quiet area. It's about a 15 minute walk to Aljunied metrostation. For Singaporean standard the area looks pretty ghetto, but for Asian standard it looks average. Only the red light is perhaps the exception. TV-signal in the hotel room can be very bad. I've had a pleasant time staying there. It wasn't noisy. The local food around the area is good. Despite of the red light district, nobody really bothers you.
Restaurant Tip : Try the local food. It'll be much cheaper than when you're in the centre.

Cost and close to the Airport Picked a cheap hotel near to the Airport because of late arrival in Singapore. Area is very lively but It's in the middle of the Red light district and didn't feel too safe walking around. If you have children, pay a bit extra for a better area.
Travel tip : A little far from the subway station to walk

The hotel was very accessible (about 10min to MRT), staffs are helpful and courteous, room facilities are quite ok. The toilet bowl was not properly cleaned prior to my check-in. No internet connection. Clothes hanger can't be used to hang neatly ironed pants and there are only 2 available. The flat screen have few tv channels. This hotel was very good for people in transit or just planning to stay a short vacation in Singapore. The hotel was very accessible (about 10mins to MRT) and located on a district where you can find different variety of good foods unique only to Singapore. The hotel was not recommended for family use (so as all the hotels on this district) because this is the red district of Singapore. My room was adequate for my needs but no available internet connection. The staffs let me have an early check-in (but this depends on the availability of the room). To sum it up, I have no problem coming back again to this hotel. I just hope the management will spend some money to address the comments made by their valued guests.
Restaurant Tip : Plenty of nearby restaurants. I would encourage every tourist to taste the foods and depart for the meantime to customary western foods.

Economical for the amount paid.
Well connected by bus and MRT.
ISD facility within room.
Coffee making facility within room. No restaurant within the hotel.
Location in red light area. Hotel is quite good, staffs are very cooperative.Its location is at walking distance from the nearest Aljunied MRT. Its quite good to stay for the amount paid.ISD calling facility is there within the room on request. Hotel pick up service is available for tours as its close to main road.One thing which is lacking there is a restaurant in the hotel, but there are many places to dine near by.Its not good to stay here if you are with family as its a red light area.

plenty places to eat i found this hotel was good value for money.i have stayed in a lot worse for a lot more money.
hotel presents well,staff were friendly,room was clean and easy to get taxi to airport which cost only $12.
yes it is in red light district but i found walking around at night no problem.plenty of places to get food near hotel.would stay there again

the location is very good. I think we need the Wifi as complementary we love staying in this hotel because of the facilities and the nightview, we can go out and find any restaurant at any time, we made new friends. We liked to go back again at this hotel, it is cheap and we have wonderful time. Keep up the good work.

The Cleaniness of room and nice attitute of room attendant. Convenience of buying drinks. Easy access of wireless internet service inside the hotel room. No slippers. Some bad smelling when I first check-in the room. No CNN channel or StarMovie channel. Generally speaking, I felt good for the period of staying in Fragrance Pearl Hotel Singapore. Even though I tasted some bad smelling when I first check-in the hotel, the room attendant had quickly responsed to my request for changing the bed sheets and pillow cases. Also, the service attitute of room attendant and reception staff was nice. It would be better if I could have a pair of slippers in my room. It was convenience and important for me that I could access the internet inside the room and no need to go to business centre.
Restaurant Tip : It would be nice if I can buy some snacks or sandwiches or light meal within the hotel.

The price is value for money in Singapore. It is about 15 walk from MRT. A lot of Durian fruit stalls nearby. Food Stalls as well. Red Light District. It is no any facilities for their customers in the hotel. If you are a budget visitor to Singapore, it is recommended for you to live in this hotel.
Restaurant Tip : Many durian & fruit stalls and all kinds of food shops in this district.

This hotel is good Value for Money, the area seens very busy but very easy to work around and fine good food . The hotel staff are very friendly & helpful, The room is not big but still nice,Location - a 10minute walk from MRT station, not easy for somr one carry a big lugggage.

Easy to find the small restaurants nearby. The facility is very limited. We spent two nights there. The hotel is not far from the MTR station, about ten minutes walk. It's quite easy to find some small local restaurants nearby and enjoy the local taste. But the facilities there are limited, no toothbrush, no soup, and they don't offer breakfast. Fortunately they offer the air conditioner, which is essential in the tropical area.
