The hotel is very clean and quiet. No carpark available if you are driving. Overall, staying in Fragrance - Rose Hotel is very pleasant for me. The place is clean and easy to find. Just that it doesn't provide any carpark if you are driving there and the bathroom is a bit too small.

Clean, friendly, convenient Small room but I had no problem with that other than manouvering in the bathroom. The room was very clean and all fittings and appliances seemed relatively new. Location was central enough, taxis were easy to get and there was an international ATM next door and a convenience store nearby. As a single traveller and for the price, it was 100% better than I expected. I will happily use this hotel again on my next visit to singapore

I chose this hotel as we played in a cricket tournament just around the corner and only used the room to sleep so it was ideal. I also stayed 12 months ago and could see that the room had improved eg. LCD TV. If they could only fit a small fridge and a mini safe then it would be perfect. Fast check in, clean room. PErfect for my needs.
Hotel Feature Tip : Don't use the convenience store connected to the hotel, the prices are high. Walk a few metres further down the road as they are cheaper. Instant Laksa noodles are great.

There was a convenience store beside the hotel. There were a lot of men and women of the clothes that the first floor was showy in a karaoke shop and was slightly fierce. Shopping Tip : There is a convenience store in the neighborhood.

Clean & comfortable but a little bit small.
Hotel staff should pay attention to special request stated by customer during booking. This will prevent re-do step, as I requested for NON smoking floor but when I check in, my room actually on the smoking floor. Nice hotel with high level of comfort also what you pay = what you will get in return. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location wise, a bit far from train ( nearest station is Novena Square ) but it also take you about 20 minutes by walking from the hotel. Anyway, alternative transport mode you can take a bus, myself took a bus from the hotel to Orchard Road, only cost me SGD1 which is cheaper compare you take the train from Novena Square ( at least you save ur walking time ). Good for couple trip !!!! +)

It's a very cheap hotel. It's clean enough, the room is tiny but everything is there. The only thing I missed were having a refrigerator and microwave.
It's close to the Novena MRT, but you still need a bus to go to and from the station. I used to take the No. 21 train from Novena, then once it turns right into Balestier road I'd get off and walk the way back to the hotel. I don't recommend this if you're a heavy packer. I travel light, so i was actually able to get from Changi to the Fragrance Rose just by using the MRT and a bus.
The LCD TV was rather big, it's relaxing enough after a hard day. It just takes a bit of work getting there.
The entrance to the hotel is rather small (discreet) though, the entrance is right under the small sign. I accidentally passed it the first time.
Restaurant Tip : The Whampao hawker center is nearby. Also, there's a McDonalds at Shaw center about 5 mins away.

Facility : Very clean.
Location : Very Accessible. Facility : Toilet/bath is small and having difficulty to move around. My overall assessment to Fragrance Hotel - Rose is that the Facility is well kept in spite of the Toilet and Bath which restrict the user mobility while inside this room. The living room is neat and clean , i would definitely recommend this place to my friends and colleagues who planning to visit us on their future vacations.
Restaurant Tip : Having a restaurant in the hotel with bar gives convenience to people checking-in.

dampness mark on the ceiling Comfortable place, cooling air-cond, though toilet is small but the shower works well, convenience to airport & orchard road, taxi & busses stand just nearby, food stalls just across the road. Everything is convenient. I'll be back one day.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Join the hippo tour & jump in the colourful busses.

fragrance rose hotel at balastier road is value for money, but room is small , quite clean , near food court, and near good bah kut tea. use bus 21 or 131 to novena MRT approx 10 min. the window in the room can't open but u can open window at d toilet, d toilet is small.
Restaurant Tip : eat 333 bah kut tea.

no free internet Hotel is located in downtown, close to bus stop but not close to MRT (you can take taxi to Newton/Novena/Lavender). You can easy find food around. there is a money changer opposite to the hotel.
The receptionist is very hospitality and you can easy get travel information (brochures for brochure) from the front desk.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hotel located downtown, easy to find food around. Close to a 7/11, convenience to get bus to CBD.
You can take MRT from Changi Airport to Lavender then a taxi of $5 will bring you to hotel.

Its a small hotel with small rooms. Its convenient and cheap for a budget traveller. Costs around $20SGD to/from airport. Food is accessible at late hours around the hotel with a 24hr hawker food centre is open a few blocks down. Although its a small hotel, they still do a good job in providing basic amenities and have pleasant staff.

cheap hotel, 24hr reception Very Hard Bed!! Small room cant sit anywhere and no room for luggage. Bad area We arrived at 3 am so it was good they let us in at 3:30 ish. The room is tiny and the bathroom is also very small, a shower sink toilet in one!! But you get what you pay for. I would pay more money next time and get a better located hotel.
Hotel Feature Tip : Pay a bit more and stay somewhere else.

we can put a luggage for few day,quite clean,quite cheap in singapore. room is too small, no refrigerator fragrace rose hotel located at balastier road , near restorant and food court but we have to take a bus 21 or 131 to novena mrt. if u need a supermarket is at shaw plaza name fair price, and 333 bah kut tea at balastier road near d hotel is very good. in singapore the hotel is quite cheap if u compare with d other hotel in singapore.

Not too far from Orchard Rd., many shops and eatery around. Many rooms have got no windows, can't see what happen outside, neither day or night if you just woke up from a sleep. This is rather small hotel located at the Toa Payoa suburb, not too far from Orchard Rd., about 3 to 4 S$ taxi fare or 10 mins journey.
The room is very small, no space for 2 luggage, nor any space for sitting. But it is one of the cheapest one could find through the internet booking!
Restaurant Tip : The Whampoa Market & Food Hawkers is just 7 mins walk from the hotel.

Its a small hotel with small rooms. The rooms are small but clean and everything you need is neatly tucked into such a small space. There are plenty of restaurants and stores around. Bus station is near; Novena is the nearest MRT station. Wireless internet available but chargeable at $5/ 2 hours. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful.
Restaurant Tip : Balestier Market Fr 9pm to 4am.
