Clean and maintained Good. Good responese in reception The location of the hotel. The hotel is maintained very clean. The receiption is good. The response to the queries are good. I got little disappointed on seeing that there are some basic amnities missing such as the TV remote, AC remote extra. The things promissed such as Iron board and DVD are not included in the aminities.
Restaurant Tip : All kind of food are available in near by food courts. No big restaurents nearby seen.

Good towels, clean, toileteries Not good for Family travelers. Its a budget hotel only suggestible for Bachelors, Solo traveler (Male only) or married but acting bachelors only. As it is the heart of red light area. Family - please stay away from this area - Geylang.

cheap, close to MRT, plenty of restaurants and shops are there nearby. some rooms are not very clean. the location of the hotel is not very good, smoke from other rooms enters the room. The stay in Fragrance Ruby met my expectations. However, I found the standard room (cheaper and smaller room), more clean and better than the superior room. The staff were cooperative and coordial. However noise and smoke from othr rooms disturbs us. It is very convenient to reach the hotel by MRT. However, unfortunately the location of the hotel is not good.

Cheap, clean, well located Very clean room: everything worked well. Courteous staff.
This hotel is very well located almost on the main Geylang highway and close to some of Singapore's finest food outlets - Malay, Indian, Thai and Chinese.
Truly one of Singapore's best kept secrets
Hotel Feature Tip : If you're going to be out and about most of the day this is the sort of hotel you should stay in: all the necessary amenities and conveniently located (10 minutes from the MRT station. You can save a bundle to spend on food and shopping!

I liked the cleanliness of the hotel No remote facility available for AC, TV etc. Located in good place. All kind of food available in the surroundings. Good public commute access available very nearby to the hotel. This is a good place to stay as a business visitor. I can recommend this hotel as good to stay as a business visitor. It is disappointing to see like things promissed such as Iron board are not exising.
Restaurant Tip : Food court with all verity of food available on walkable distance. Could not find any good restaurant nearby.

Its a budget hotel so don't expect too much. You have to walk 10-15 mins to go to Nearest MRT station which is Aljunied. The Hotel is in the red light district. The room is so small. But what to do you expect? Its a budget hotel. I recommend this for those who are looking for a budget hotel. Its also clean.
Restaurant Tip : Foods are ranging to S$5-10 on a budget meal.

it's among the closest budget hotel to Aljunied MRT station.
located in red light district, not suitable for family travel. I had spent a 2 nights 3 days weekend stay in Fragrance Ruby at Geylang. The hotel is reasonably priced, cleanliness is just OK. I would advise traveler to bring your own towels for personal hygiene reason. The hotel is located right at the center of Singapore Red light district, it's not a surprise to see street prostitutes everywhere. Not suitable for family travel, but it's OK for back-packer. Overall, a fair experience

Good price for the value
Free amenities (coffee and water)
Good location (short walk from the MRT and many eateries at the corner)
Excellent service and particularly clean place
Cheap Wifi connection May be a bit noisy if you room is on the street (if loud people come back late after partying!) The Fragrance Ruby hotel offered to us everything we could expect for our stop in SIN (we are RWT travelers on budget) and even more. We had a very good price in through Agoda and we were pleasantly surprised by this big hotel.
We'll go back there when in SIN again.
Restaurant Tip : Cheap Indian and Chinese restaurants all around where you can eat and enjoy with locals.

No free wifi. Need new towel everyday. Bed is not comforted. Hurt my back, shoulder, and neck on the next morning. Changed another room the problem remain the same. Hotel located in red district. Not good for family with children stay. Should clean room 1 a day.

good value for money, accessible location, good eats all around tub in the bathroom was quite small I always stay at the Fragrance Hotel Ruby during my short trips to Singapore. The hotel is easily accessible by MRT from the airport, and from it, the city centre can easily be reached by bus. There are many good eating places in the area of the hotel. The room is cosy and comfortable, but I found the tub in the bathroom a bit too small. All in all, however, Fragrance Hotel Ruby gives you good value for your money.
Restaurant Tip : No Signboard Seafood is just a 5 minute walk away from the hotel!

I am ok with the staff services...the room rate is suit with the room type! The hotel room is very small...no space to walk atall I was not satisfied with the hotel room as it is too smal. There is no space for walking...putting baggages or cloths. However, I understand as the room rate we paid was cheap. In the night I am not recommend guest to walk outside as very dark road and many workers walk/sit around. More thing is this hotel is far from MRT stations.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : I found the local chinese and indian restaurants around this hotel...so people that do not want to go far...can eat around.
