The rooms were like a small box with no window..the price is over the top for what you receive...the breakfast included was fine but the service was a mess and the staff were unfriendly and at times rude to us...would never stay again...
The location of the hotel is o.k...but taxis are not supposed to stop in front as there is a bus stop there and it is illegal to drop off and get in outside the hotel..the taxis will let you out tho...the rooms were clean but like I say...like a box...don't stay if you get a bit dodgy in a confined area as it is jail like in the rooms...the pool on the rooftop is divine..this is the only plus...ask for a room with a window and this may be o.k...but the place is overpriced...
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : close to Little India area

Room we were given on the ground floor was disgusting. Dirty and had a very bad smell. No windows, nowhere to put bags. Asked for another room but was told that nothing was available.
The worst room in the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Absolutely disgusting and I will certainly not use your booking services in the future.

i was quite surprised to find the hotel is clean, good breakfast, within walking distance to MRT station.
the bathroom is really small and bed quite hard
When i first found this hotel, I didn't expect it to be this clean. I think cleanliness is very important to me and this hotel is really clean for it's price.
But I was first given a room that smell like smoke, and I ask them to change my room immediately. Even though they told me that there's a non-smoking policy in the hotel but they agreed to change my room.
There's no shampoo and soap if you usually use them, and the bathroom is quite small.
Just fit for a 5.3 feet girl like me but a bigger person would probably hit their elbows all the time.
The bed is quite hard though.
The breakfast is quite big for me, eggs, hams, toasts, hashbrown and 2 type of drinks.
The hotel is very near to Little India MRT station if you know where to go, because you need to go through small lanes and a car park.
The receptions are quite helpful if you need to ask about things.
And I found out that its much cheaper if you book the hotel online than on spot.
7-11 store is right beside the hotel.
Restaurant Tip : A really nice local restaurant just down the road, a 3 minutes walk. It's a chinese and Indian food. Very nice!

the bathroom is very small
The employees of the hotel are very nice, it is near to a food court, also has a 7 eleven and is near the airport… and has a beautiful pool in the roof. The room is small but comfortable and clean. Includes breakfast and is not a buffet but is nice and the restaurant is clean. The only thing that is uncomfortable is the bathroom.

inexpensive, good location, good service, pool, free breakfast
small rooms, short beds, no fridge
Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights with 2 children in a standard room. Very cramped and the bed was short even for me at 5'5". But we are only in the room to sleep, and the pool was a huge plus, as was the free breakfast, eggs and toast. Location is great with good food, a supermarket, and MRT very close. Little India and Bugis just 15 minute walk away.

- Friendly receptionist\n- Convenient location\n- Excellent breakfast
- Too small space for luggages in the room\n- Few sitting area at the lobby
Everything is OK except the room is quite too small if you take many luggages.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Little India and Sim Lim Square is just a block away from hotel. You can go there on foot.

rooms small, breakfast basic
The Fragrance Selegie has a good location, close to Little India. The room and the bathroom are very small, but that you know beforehand when you book it. The walls seem to be rather thin as you can everybody walking past in front of the room. The room was clean and everything worked. The breakfast was rather basic, but better than nothing. The staff was quite friendly.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : make sure you visit Little India on foot

Close to Little India and Sim Lim Square where you can take indian food and buy electronics at an affordable price.
The front desk staff were very efficient and friendly for me.
No Wireless internet connection in the hotel room which is must for the current world for all type of visitors.
Can reduce the room rent per hour for early check in visitors.
Should not allow smokers in the non- smoking room.
I stayed for 2 nights with my wife and son in a superior room. The front desk staff was very efficient to send me to my room very quickly though I had to pay a good amount of money due to my early check in. The room was clean but I found the smell of cigarette in the room when I entered there. The rooms are too small for a superior room and the toilets are the smallest I have ever seen in a three star hotel in the world. But the location was good to go to the little India, Sim Lim Square and also to hop in and out in the city buses next to the door steps.
Restaurant Tip : Go to the little India, just 1 KM away from this hotel, and enjoy continental food and shopping in the Mostofa center.

Close to Little India MRT about 3-5 mins walk.
there is 7-11 next door
Very small room and bathroom
I would say that this hotel is unsatisfied. First I got the room on the first floor. There is no window and smell not good. Then I decided to change to another room with twin bed on 6th floor which is so small and the bathroom is also so small. Even there is no space for luggages I have to put everything on the floor. The good thing is close to MRT little india. You can walk around to Mustafa, Sim Lim and Bugis about 10-15 mins. I would reccomend for someone who want to sleep only for this hotel

Reasonable price compared to the other hotels.
Check-in only after 15:00 is possible.
The numbers of-star-does not correspond to the
reality.
The access to the hotel was not so far as I expected.
If you use the MRT station-Little India- The hotel info refers to Bugis as the nearest station which is not true. The area is unfortunately not attractive at all with some small restaurants nearby. The reception was not very helpful after asking about city bus transportation.
Overall impression of the hotel: even considering the budget hotel, man can not speak of value for money (room size, shower both, total appearance etc.)
It is said that Japan is very expensive
but travelers take a budget hotel in Tokyo for 50USD, he must be 10 times happier than in this hotel in Singapore, and I paid much more for a night.

-Near MRT.
-Near Mustafa.
-Near Town.
The location is very good, compared to the price.
The room is extremely small, especially the toilet, I can not take the shower there, has to go the my friend's hotel to take a bath everyday.
Overall, compared to the price, it is quite good, but I think it's absolutely not a 3 star hotel, next time when I have a chance to go to Singapore, I won't stay in this hotel.
Shopping Tip : It's really near Mustafa Store, where you can find the highest exchange rate in Singapore, why the other just get you 1 USD - 1.45 , at Mustafa it is 1= 1.478. Just take the bus 137 or 149, two bus stops and you can see Mustafa store.

Fragrence Selangie is in a good location near Little India, the underground train (MRT) and some cheap restaurants. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. Luggage may be left in storage for people leaving on late night flights.
Rooms are very small with basic amenities. Eg. 3 wall hooks instead of a wardrobe, no cupboards, the shower is not separate so everything in the bathroom becomes saturated when showering. The worst feature however was the so called "Good News Cafe" which we renamed "The Take-it-or-leave-it Cafe." Eggs were only available fried, and the choice was sunny-side up or flipped. The eggs came with 2 square inches of lettuce, 1/6 of a small tomato and a small overcooked hash- brown. Two slices of basic white toast followed per person with butter and jam. The only other choice on the menu was tea or coffee. For the price we were paying this was simply penny-pinching and not good enough.
The hotel is surprisingly popular. I'm not sure why. Perhaps it's the location? Rooms are all classed as superior but from my perspective they were standard at best. Very pokey and with very basic amenities. There is a 1.2m deep swimming pool on the roof which we didn't use but it could be useful for cooling off in I suppose.

The elevator crash, the hotel didn't look like the photos, and the reception lady had an attitude.
Will not come back to Fragrance Selegie Hotel again. The breakfast was the only good thing. Because of bad traffic, this hotel is in a bad location.
