location, shopping, eating, friendly staff, swimming-pool.

small room, small bathroom, loud from club.

Rooms and bathroom is really very small. Hotel is very clean but I was surprising that some one was smoking in the corridor. There is good swimming pool on the roof. Hotel was very clean and breakfast was OK. Location is about 1.1 km from MRT Bugis Station and close to Little India MRT Station. I never tried to find Little India station because it is much more convenient to take direct train to Chiangi from Bugis. Close to the shopping and eating area.

Good value and location

too small rooms, smells bad (NO Fragrance)

Okay hotel to stay for a short visit, especially for your budget. Good claren hotel. Easy to get there from the airport and also good location to go to Mustafa shopping centre and to can MRT trains. But wouldn't recommend for long stays. Very helpful staff and good arrangements of city tours and santosa tours. B'fast is okay but nothing special.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 days in Dec 08. Our first impression was that this was a quiet and nice place.

The hotel is far away from the city and no big shopping center near to the hotel. Anyway, you can take Little India MRT station to any place you want to.

need to improve the breakfast.

Location.

room size, noisy plumbing.

You have probably figured out by now that the rooms are small - they are! Double bed pushed against wall with window. Some people have said there isn't room to open a suitcase on the floor. I'm wondering what you are doing here if you own a suitcase! We could fit our travel bags at the end of the bed, and use a hotel as a place to sleep. You can shower sitting on the toilet too, but everything is worth a try. Breakfast was acceptable and VERY promptly served. It even has a pool on the roof. Very well placed for Little India and we walked everywhere. Singapore is an expensive city and this represents excellent value, but it's isn't 5 star, so don't expect that. Downside, you can hear water running in pipes all night (in our room at least)

Good location

room without window and small

A room with no window is something i was not expecting to find in Singapore for the price i paid. Bottom line is a room with no windows is not a hotel room.

Very Centralized and easy to by MRT or visit Orchard road or even at evening to make some shopping at Mustafa Shopping Center. Easy to walk to Sim Lim Tower where computer or electrics goods are interesting for Singapore. Around that area you can find place to eat easily and around. The price that we can pay for the hotel is suitable if you do not expect swimming pool or beach or park to see the green.

Television in the room can adjust the program, more choices like movies from HBO or TV5 or Star Movie. Changing Breakfast or rotate sometime to chinese style like rice soup or noodle or fried rice. Not only European American breakfast which is not impressive for breakfast, but timing till 11:00AM is excellent. No Bell Captain for helping check out or shopping.

Generally for the pricing and the location and surroundings, its excellent even though the room is little small for european and american, but for Asian people its ok. Don't expect such hi-class. The payment is satisfying for next visit anyway. Always through Agoda to make sure or avoid less misunderstanding.

Good location and fine hospitality of people in the front desk. The rooms are clean.

The rooms are slightly small.

The hotel location is very good and it is close to important places in Singapore (also airport). Hospitality of front desk people are very kindly. But rooms and beds are slightly small and when I take a shower, a toilet and a sink are flooded. Neighbor's talking, walking, and sound of TVs are very loud.

clean

internet is NOT free and room is extremely small

nice people working there, very clean, good location + perfect for business, if you only sleep at the hotel

Restaurant Tip : just at the opposite side of the road from the hotel, there is an excellent, yet not fancy, restaurant: LEO CAFE (in the Albert Court), which have local and western dishes

OK but very basic. Guest Rating: 6.7

Very nice staff.

The room was very small. Do not bring children.

I did not realise the room was so small when I did my reservation. It is a bed (ca 120 cm) and a floor area of ca 2sqm. The bathroom is about 1 sqm. You stand beside the toilet and take a shower. If you want a little bit cheaper hotel you should stay here because the staff is friendly and everything is spotless. I will spend a little bit more on a hotel next time in Singapore.

Excellent location, cleanliness, value for money.

Room size too small and with no cupboard, no variety in breakfast.

On a very Excellent Location. Walking distance to Little India, Mustafa Centre (24 hrs mall), MRT station, Bugis Street and Sim Lim square. Rooms and Hotel are very clean. Staff is cooperative. Rooms and bathrooms are very small. No cupboard to keep luggage. Mattress on bed not comfortable. Breakfast menu does not change ever and you end up eating the same ham, toast and eggs everyday. But overall, value for money.

Shopping Tip : Just walk to Bugis street for shopping of fashion and dress material, Sim Lim square for electronics shopping or to Mustafa centre for anytime good price shopping.

OK, but only if on a very tight budget Guest Rating: 6

Clean.

Unbelievably small room, and ridiculously small bathroom (1 sq metre, literally).

We got there at 2pm and had to wait until 3pm for the check-in, that's too late. Even with all the rooms clean and ready at the time, there was at least 15 people waiting in the lobby to go to their rooms. Clean rooms, but very, very, very small with NO WINDOW (the one we stayed)!!! The shower was on top of the toilet, which was on the bottom of the sink. Seriously, never seen such a small bathroom. The breakfast is not buffet but it's good. Close to Little India and to the Orchard Rd.

The area is quite nice, and very easy to walk to most places. Quite clean and tidy. Breakfast included which is a bonus.

Rooms very small, air conditioner noisy and had to change rooms.

I would say this was a good hotel for the price. Having breakfast included is a bonus. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Walking distance to most things. Convenient buses and train station.

Location is near to the MRT station (within the walking distance).

Room is too small, especially the toilet, no space for standing when showering. I cannot imagine those guests with the bigger size of body how to stay in a comfortable condition.

The poor thing is no body came and clean our room, when we came back to hotel at night, we discover our room was not cleaned yet, we went to checked with the reception, then only they arranged the housekeeping for us. I was really surprised that how can a hotel provided such kind of services. It's very important that hotel management must ensure that all the rooms are cleaned everyday unless the guest requested not to clean. Even though the motel or hostel, they do provide the housekeeping services.
