The hotel was generally OK, the pool is small but that's nice. Staffs are friendly.

The rooms are very small,The food for breakfast was not variety.

This is quite good for travelers on a budget but requires convenience as part of their itinerary. The room and bathroom are very small but clean. It's near sim lim square ,bugis square and the MRT station (Little India), you can walk just 5 minuts to sim lim. Overall this is one cute place to stay in but I do not recommend this hotel, unless you have no money to spend.

The hotel is located within 10-15 minutes walk from Little India and Bugis MRT Station. There's a bus stop just in front of the hotel. They serve breakfast to you. Overall, it's a pleasant stay.

The sound proof of the room is rather poor. We can hear people talking from the corridor. The room is small, but you don't have to squeeze in there.

The location of the hotel is rather considered to be superb if you're a traveller who enjoy to experience the diversity of culture in Singapore. If you aboard frm Little India MRT Station, you'll walk pass a street full with Indian shops. You do get the feeling that you're in India (probably better since it's so clean). On your way to Bugis MRT Station frm the hotel, you'll pass by the Bugis Street which is quite a heaven to ladies. You can get trendy shirts there with only S$10. You need not have to worry on the foods, as there are plenty of variations from chinese, indian, western to japanese there.

Clean, friendly staff

Rooms very small

The hotel was easy to find. The staff were friendly and helpful. I liked everything about the hotel the location, the price, the staff, and the environment. The only weakness I found was the room size. It was very small. My son is 6' 5" and the bed was not long enough for him. We did not have enough room for our luggage and to move around. Other than that we had a comfortable stay and would recommend it to others.

Shopping Tip : Most of the shopping mall is within walking distance or a short taxi ride. The airport is only about 10 mile. great location for everything.

Room way too small for 3 and breakfast no variety Guest Rating: 5.7

Good location

room too small, lousy breakfast

The location is good. The room is way to small even for a small family like me (1 kid 16mths). The breakfast is very boring only set of American breakfast with same thing everyday. Not worth at the rate.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The location is very good. Near to MRT station, Bugis junction, SimLim Tower/Square, 10 mins MRT to Orchard.

clean, easy check in/out, close to transport

smallness of the room

Hotel was clean, a little worn in the foyer though. Very friendly and helpful staff who allowed bags to be left there after checking out. Room was very small as was the bed. bed wasnt the most comfy but as it was clean it was ok. i wouldnt consider myself a tall person, but my feet hung over the end of the bed.double bed was ok for one person but for 2 tall people I would consider another room/place. Breakfast was ok - very fast service. internet is rather slow with only 2 computers. overall i would probably try out different hotel if staying for more than a day in Singapore (or if you are tall!)

Breakfast and location was very good, it was accessible to major tourist spot. The front desk people were very helpful and accomodating.

Bathroom, it was very small and TV reception was only clear for 2 channels

All in all it was a pleasant stay, the hotel staff was friendly. The room was clean although very small than what I expected. But the location was very good as it was accessible to major local transport like bus, trains. Also it was near the major shopping area..

Shopping Tip : Although Bugis is very famous, you do not need to go very far to shop. I think Mustafa in Little India has everything under one roof.

Centrally located in the center of city. Bus stop is just right in front of the hotel, MRT is at 5 minutes walking distance.

The room is unreasonable small, especially the toilet. The charges for wireless internet is also unreasonable, where the clock start clicking when you first login and you have to finished your once you login the first time. You cannot continue use the balance hour after you logout.

Although the rate is good for budget but I will not recommend for my second visit. The room is unreasonable small, which I think I can find a more comfortable size room by just paying a little bit extra or if I seriously hunt around, I probably can find one better with the same price. Also, not mentioning the system they charge for internet usage is ridiculous, base on hour on first and only login, not on the credit usage basis.

Neat and clean, good location, close to MRT station and bus stops right in front of the hotel door. The Cafe was good and the staff was efficient and courteous.

Very small rooms and bathrooms. Only one lift.

The hotel is very conveniently located on the main road near little India. The MRT station is about a 5 min walk and the bus stop is right in front of the hotel door. The rooms and the linen are neat and clean and so are the bathrooms. However, the rooms are extremely small and there is no place to keep any luggage. Despite the 5'x 6' bed tucked away to one corner of the room, there is just enough space for one person to move around at a time. The bathrooms are very small too and are a marvel of space utilisation. Took us a while to figure out how to have a bath there.

Shopping Tip : Mustafa shopping center is about 15 min walk from the hotel.

Center for all shopping, nearby to the MRT, good food points. Walkable distance to Little India market and mustafa center

Small rooms. Breakfast should be better. Traveldesk charges are very high

I booked this hotel online and the price was not very high considering the location it is situated. There are other hotls nearby but not very good for families to stay. The MRT was very nearby, walkable distance. The shopping malls are very close. Little India and Bugis MRT along with good hotels for food makes this hotel a very choice for stay. For family the room might be a small in size but for 1 person it is a confortable stay. The responce from the reception was good whenever required. The travel desk chages are very high. For each siteseeing they charge 30-40% higher than the admission fees.

Quite clean, people are nice, nice swiming pool on top of the hotel (10th floor)

The room is extremely small, the size of the bad plus one meter arround. I wouldn't rate it not even 2 stars. No Internet available except for the lobby where it costs a lot.The bathroom is not for claustrophobic people (1mX1m). Location is very bad and the most customers are Indian people. The breakfast is very bad and just one choice

We had a one night stay in Fragrance Selegie hotel. Our experience started wrong when we arrived about 12 o' clock and we had to wait up to 1 in the afternoon to get our room, so if you are coming from a long trip you will have to wait in a lobby that has only one couch and three armchairs and those are allways busy as people are arriving from earlier flights. So room management and time management do not apply. Judging by the size of the rooms I wouldn't rate the hotel not even two stars. It was the smallest room I ever sleeped in. The bayhroom is less than one meter square. It's just the toillet, the sink and one suspended fix shower that splashes over the floors plus few centimetres in between them. I advise everyone to go for the 4 or 5 stars hotel in the central areea as the price differs very little.

Sorry the only real positive thing about this hotel is it's location. It's close to a few nice pubs & restaurants. The comp. breakfast was o.k.

The shower is located above the sink and toilet... real cheesy..... No ice machines, no mini fridge

If you don't mind the bare minimum in a hotel then this may be the place for you, I mean minimum as in it will provide a roof over your head.... for the price I paid here (although pretty cheap) I was able to find much more suitable accommodations.... I also noticed quite a bit of "nightlife" traffic going in and out of this hotel so if traveling with children or the family then again you may want to have a look elsewhere for your stay, trust me there are plenty of places to stay I only wish I had more time to look around, this is not a bad place but a place not for me none the less. Good luck, after all it's Singapore.... hard not to enjoy any kind of stay here.
