This hotel has a really nice design, you can see it from afar and it shows how it's unique from the surrounding buildings. It's located next to the river and night life is only a walking distance away.
the room has no luggage table, only a portable luggage stand, which is very flimsy.
I stayed at level two of this hotel and the room overlooked the river with a balcony that is 2 storeys high, separated only by the hotel's big pillars, which is very beautiful when used as a background for taking pictures. One thing that I need to point out: when arrived at the hotel, the receptionist was not very polite with unfriendly tone, I don't know if it was her mood or because I was only wearing shorts, polo shirt, and a pair of sandals. Whatever the reason, I was very offended at the time, but quickly soothed when another receptionist took over.

Fancy hotel, good food, wonderful look at the Singapore River (Boat Quay), close to shopping center (Raffles City Mall, Suntec City), nice pool area, very quiet.
Very high price (although one can get a nice deal through Agoda.com)
My wife and I had a great time at this hotel. The room is absolutely great, big, clean with modern accessories (coffee machine, refrigerator, LCD-TV). The bathroom has bath and shower and looks great. We got a non-smoking room. There are several services offered for reasonable prices.
Hotel Feature Tip : There is a good italian restaurant at the top of the hotel, called Lighthouse. Good italian food, but quite expensive.

Fitness room, location, bathrooms
need small champagne bottle in minibar. small rooms
Good hotel, good value for discounted rooms through agoda. Otherwise overpriced. Very good Sunday brunch.
Restaurant Tip : Very good North Indian restaurant on Boat Quay, same side as hotel. It is past the Chinese seafood restaurants with the very annoying workers trying to get you to eat there.
