Food, Drink and Entertainment

Food, Drink and Entertainment

Town Restaurant
Town Restaurant is a vibrant, smart-casual restaurant serving the refined flavours of Asian, Italian, Japanese, and Pacific Rim cuisines. It is the perfect venue for a business lunch, or dining in style before you stroll across the Cavenagh Bridge to Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall for a performance. Sophisticated and comfortable, dine indoors or alfresco along the historic Singapore River.

The Courtyard
Located in the sunlit atrium lobby of the hotel, The Courtyard is where guests can have a quick sandwich or a latte throughout the day. Furnished with plush sofas and surrounded with soothing bamboo, The Courtyard is perfect for informal meetings or an afternoon tête-à-tête. The String Trio of violinists and a cellist performs from Tuesday to Sunday, 3.00pm to 5.45pm.

Post Bar
Post Bar at The Fullerton Singapore is a trendy bar where style-setters call its own. While it is certain to evoke comparisons with some of the world's most outstanding contemporary bars, Post Bar has a style which is distinctively its own. Everything here has been created to satiate the senses. The elements of design and colours have been integrated to provide a feast for the eye and ear. At Post Bar, guests can mingle at the Cocktail Bar, where the finest selection of Martinis, signature cocktails and liquors are available, or swing to the beat of contemporary New World and chill-out music in the Music Room.

Jade
In ancient China, jade was regarded as the most precious of gemstones, a divine gift from the gods. Just as precious and perhaps divinely inspired, are the modern Chinese culinary specialties created by the master chefs at Jade, using only the finest and freshest ingredients. Diners will enjoy an ambience that is both elegant and refined, while being served in a manner that is attentive, but never intrusive. For those whose love of fine Chinese cuisine knows no bounds, Jade will both delight and surprise.

San Marco at The Lighthouse
Sitting at the apex of The Fullerton Singapore where a lighthouse used to be, San Marco at The Lighthouse stands out as a beacon of the culinary scene. With an emphasis on modern Italian cuisine, San Marco is a 50-seater fine-dining restaurant with modern touches to its interior and private rooms. Diners will be enchanted by the intimate ambience and magnificent views of the bay.

All in all a splendid hotel. It would be virtually perfect if the gym were expanded somewhat, and the internet charges were fixed at a level that most guests- and not just those on expense accounts- could afford. But if you want a luxury hotel in a historic building that's run with impeccably unobtrusive efficiency, this is it.

  • Nightlife Tip : Try Archipelago Brewpub just off South Bridge Road- a surprisingly successful alternative to Tiger beer. The small but cheerful Indian restaurant opposite is also worth a visit, and massively more so than many pricier and more pretentious establishments on Clark/Robinson Quays.....

Go for the "breakfast included" option as the variety of the buffet choices (including, among many other things, a juice bar) is almost mind-boggling, and the outdoor seating area along the river provides an oasis of peace and quiet in the morning.

The pool was wonderful. As it was up on a higher floor, you could swim to the edge of the infinity pool and overlook the city. The breakfast buffet was immense and offered everything.
