Great location, but I had windowless room.
Staff helpful and efficient, location provides easy access to top tourist spots. Handheld shower is fantastic.

Hotel is really old. I had a windowed but older room without handheld shower. They fulfilled my change room request, and ended with windowless room. I have trouble knowing the time of the day without a window or a watch. The windowless room has a modern design, newly refurbished with large LCD TV. Bathroom have really good handheld shower, although the door cannot be locked (glass door). Room have iron, ironing board, hair dryer, personal safe, although the mini-bar was empty. But overall, it was a pleasant stay.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Bring your own shower gel and shampoo. Hotel didn't have good ones.

This is the second stay in this hotel and we find it very convenient. It is certainly not the cheapest or the best value hotel, but we know our way around from here and the hotel is quiet, clean and of international standard.

I've stayed at this hotel many times. I always find the service good. The rooms are of a good standard, clean and well maintained. The food is good and as the hotel is in China Town if you don't want to eat in the restaurant there are a lot of good places to eat within walking distance.

Nice hotel in good location

I was originally allocated a room near the lifts. The next day I requested a change to a quiet room and the receptionist was very helpful. My room was changed and bags were moved accordingly. The bonus was that I now had a quiet room but also had a view. I would have no hesitation in going back to this hotel.

Good location close to Chinatown

I have stayed in this hotel many times and have been disappointed with the attitude of the staff on checked in. This time I was pleasently surprised that the girl on the desk was very nice and very helpful. The hotel is very clean and the location is superb close to Chinatown and the MRT that gets you to anywhere in Singapore.

ok, excellence location close to shopping-indian town-the best is so many restaurant to try--should stay in Singaporeat least 3 days--special in china town where the finale show of Top chef-and the guy that cook Singapore style he won=and so close to the museum, you can walk or can take the mrt--to me the best location in town--you don't need a fancy place--along a clean bed to sleep

We only stayed one night but were not impressed about the hotel. Very slow check in and didnt get the room we had booking for. Weew from the room was good but thats about it. No complimentary internet or breakfast and had to pay quite a lot for only a room. Door boy was very helpful but other service was very slow.

We arrived at the hotel and the receptionist was not very friendly. We did not feel welcome at all. The lobby looks very impressive until you see your room. We were dissappointed.
The shopping was great though. Shop around in Chinatown first, before you go to Orchard Rd. Prices are a lot lower.

good location for those like china town

good location if you like to stay in china town area. The hotel/room condition was nice but the facilities, they dont give complimentary drinking water like other hotel do, and no mini bar. For the price and the hotel standard (i think it's 4*) i cant believe they dont provide bottle water inside the room.
I will not stay in this hotel again.
