Nice new renovated room that is clean and beautiful. Hotel is centrally located, which is accessible to shopping and eatery easily. Hotel staff very helpful.
Nothing to complain, except in-room food service was too slow.
This is my second stay in this hotel, this time round i got a new renovated room and it is real nice and clean.

Very clean, strategic location, and very near to Chinatown
The hotel is located adjacent to the Chinese area, and its easy enough to find using the subway system. There are lots of places in which to eat nearby, and also lots of shops. Perfect spot to begin exploring Singapore. The Chinatown market had the best bargain good for souvenir.

large room, good front desk, near MRT, near all shopping
very helpful concierge on arrival to assist with luggage as the reception is on the second level and need assistance if with heavy luggage. many front desk assistants to check in and check out. comfortable lounge to relax. clean large room and hotel only 5 minutes walking distance to MRT and taxis are easily available. Near 3 large shopping malls and a S$1 bus ride to the Funan electronic centre, free wi-fi there as the hotel charges for wi-fi. Food centres are in all the 3 malls
Travel tip : transportation by MRT or bus takes you anywhere when you step out of the hotel. No need to bother with expensive taxis.

It is quite big and more then enough for two persons, i can see the China town, MRT out from the window. i will choose Furama again for next trip.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : is it near to china town, MRT, very convenient to take MRT for next stop.

The hotel is clean and excellent location, amongst the shopping places in Chinatown.
The F & B outlets need to improve. We couldn't find an outlet that serve Chinese Cuisine considering this hotel is located in Chinatown.
We drove from Kuala Lumpur and found the hotel location easily. A good point, the hotel provides car parking facility. We found the room clean & spacious. Except for the F & B outlets, we couldn't find a Chinese Restaurant for dinner & had to go out. However, plenty of choices of food surroundung the hotel, you can either go to Chinatown or Clarke Quay which is a short walking distance from hotel. Overall, we had an enjoyable trip staying at Furama City.
Shopping Tip : Very near, within walking dsitance to most Chinatown shopping & food outlets. Also, a walking distance to Clarke Quay for nite experience by the river & dining.

The meeting area and dining area in lobby
The bar was closed for some reason and we had to go out to meet some people
I've stayed at the Furama several times and find its rooms generous and very clean and modern. The meeting and dining area is good for buisiness people. The staff at the door are very good. My work is in the waterfront and Chinatown area and it is very easy to get to from the Furame. I feel it exceeds its status.

The hotel is in a great location, close to both Chinatown and Clarke Quay, which is an excellent place for restaurants and bars.
The MRT is also very close by and the views from the room I stayed in looked over the city including the Singapore Flyer.
The room was very clean as was the bathroom which had an excellent shower.
All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
nothing, I loved staying at this hotel and would stay there in the future.
The only thing I would have liked was free access to wi-fi in the rooms, it is available but isn't complimentary.
Furama City Centre is an excellent hotel in a very convenient location. Close to the MRT, bars, Clarke Quay, restaurants and Chinatown, it is an ideal and relaxing base for your stay in Singapore. It is easy to get to shopping areas such as Orchard Road by the MRT or taxi, and it's location also makes it easy to walk to many destinations and sites. The staff are all exceptionally helpful and friendly, and the rooms are very clean with wonderful views over the city. I would recommend this hotel and I will be staying there again the next time that I visit Singapore.

Easy access to China town where lots of food is available.
A little bit older facility.
I enjoy staying this hotel. Easy access to China town where everything is pretty much available. Great Chinese food in reasonable price. Currency exchange, foot massage, sourveniers, movies, etc. MRT station is in walking distance and buses are constantly coming on the street. You never get bored. Orchard road is within 10 mintutes by MRT and taxi or buses.
Hotel room is alright for business travelers. I don't need luxuary. I only take a rest in the room for evening, that's all. Accessability and convenience count for me.
Travel tip : Easy access to Fort Cunning, my regular jogging trail. I love it.

Clean, Great Location, right next to MRT and quick walk to Chinatown
Foyer bit shabby for four star, nothing in minibar for ladies only softdrink and beer
Upon arrving the concierge was pleasant and helpful although I had reservations about the hotel judging by the presentation at the foyer. The room was spotlistlessly clean but smaller than I would have liked. However the location to MRT and Chinatown was exactly as described on net and therefore perfect for the reason we had booked the hotel.
Shopping Tip : The walkovers to get on other side of street are invaluable at first we tried crossing the road but way too busy so make the effort to walk a bit down the road to get to the walkovers

The hotel staff are very helpful, starting from the valet to the front desk to the room serving staff. The hotel is well centrally located with lots of food and shopping.
The old rooms need to be renovated, although they are still ok but if this could be improved, then it would be great. I love the huge balcony.
We were given a new renovated room when we first arrived, the room was very well renovated, but we are not satisfied with the room because there is no window. The front desk staff changed our room without any question asked to a old room with a huge balcony (the front desk advise us before hand that the room with huge balcony was not renovated). We enjoy our stay there and will stay there if we are back again the next time.

Location location location
Nice pool & gym
Good shower
Popular Restaurant - good sign!
Cleaning products left very pungent smell in room
Bedding was white but very itchy - overuse of bleach
The hotel is ideally located to explore chinatown. MRT near by but if youre coming from the airport you need to make 2 changes. Only recommended if youre travelling light! Good service once i'd hauled my bags up to the reception area...
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Definately take a walk to the Singapore's quay in the evening! Its fantastic...

Ease of location. Proximity to shops.
Hotel Rooms are just a little tired (old)
The Hotel still benefits from being very centrally located to the main parts of town, and extremely well placed for the later development of the casino complex currently being built (whilst not too close, well within walking distance). The staff are very friendly and professional, and extremely attentive. The rooms are a little tired in terms of decor and wear and tear, but they are still clean and the room benefits from having the usual services expected from a 4 star hotel. The only drawback is that for the business traveller, the requirement for the internet to have unique IP addresses is very important for account based e-mail programs (as the internet connection only allows for server based e-mail to be sent, and not e-mail programs such as Entourage, Outlook Express etc). I didn't ask the hotel whether their technician could give me the IP codes necessary to correct this. Finally, the pricing for this hotel represents value in a city that seems to constantly increase its pricing.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Check out Chinatown plaza complex across the walkway. On the 4th floor there are many decent spa type saunas and massage shops. The Spa Oriental has a very high standard of massage, and it's really well priced for this city.
