The hotel is located near the river and the area where most of the wining and dining takes place. A very nice location for couples or business travellers and also not too far from Orchard for some shopping. Suggested to not take breakfast in the hotel but in one of the little restaurants in Clarke Quay.

The hotel is very famous, the taxi driver told me that the hotel is five star before. The reception is so friendly, they like to tell you anything you want to know.The room is wanderful, everything is clean and new. What my favorite is the big digital TV. When you watch the TV, make me so relax.

location is good,nice shuttle service to city. hotel is good,location is good,good staff, nice shuttle services.need to improve on food facility,
shuttle services are really nice.near to shopping areas.overall its nice hotel to stay, internet facility at lobby would be better.

nice people, easy access to orchard breakfast exclude the room fare, jacuzzi is no hot but just normal pool water I think furama river front hotel served us very good. From the bellboys, information desk till the front desk. Access to orchard is easy, $6 by taxi, and 5minutes walk to nearest bus shelter.
I disappointed, because we didn't get the breakfast including our book. I thought breakfast is always including in room fare, so it's pretty a minus for me.

Excellent service, modern, big rooms, friendly, excellent value, early check-in, my room was upgraded - perfect for a few days in Singapore Only slight negative is that it is 10-15 minutes from the closest Metro station (Chinatown). Not a huge problem though, I was happy to walk or the hotel does run a shuttle service to Chinatown. Also it's not like this hotel is out on ear in terms of location, it's right next to the Holiday Inn and many other big chain hotels. Was very happy with the hotel would definitely stay there again if I return to Singapore. Really made me feel welcome. I was able to check in at 10am which I really appreciated and my room was upgraded to Executive which meant free internet access.

Restaurant Tip : The only thing I would say (like most hotels) if breakfast is not included in your rate - although it is a pretty good breakfast - it's not cheap so go elsewhere...you've got Chinatown on your doorstep so plenty of options for food!

Transportation and usage of water sport. We expected a comprehensive of facilities like free shuttle services to downtown,water sports,local tours and updated entertainments-clubs,live bands and ktv.

friendly staff, nice quite enviorment , close location to many place poor service from maintainance , inadequeate pressure to have a shower , complained for 1 1/2 days before getting another room
no MRT close by this hotel is where i have stayed before so that was the reason i chose this place, this times stay was not very pleasent due to the poor service from the maintanace , there was only hot water for a shower, which was not veru convinient
the front office staff were very helpful and the checking was swift ,,if not for the one issue stay was pleasent

Staff are very efficent and warm welcome. No MRT Station Need to travel most places by taxi. Rate for the room is very reasonable. Customers' services at the counter is super!!. I dont mind going back again with the same rate. The only setback is logistic. I shall explore more on the hotel if there is any chance in future. Actually I shall be in Spore on 23rd July'09 but I have not booked any room yet. The room is big and nicely layout. Locality of the hotel is good for leisure. I shall recommend to my friends at this reasonable rate.
Travel tip : I do not have enough time to explore I shall try next check -in

ideally located. shopping and banks were close by and it was close to orchard. in the evening, the quayside is not too far off for a night out. could not see any weakness. so far so good. location of the hotel is good as it is close to chinatown and orchard for shopping and sightseeing and also quayside where it is very lively at night. the room was very good and the staff were courteaus and accomodating. will definitely book this hotel again for my next stay in singapore, as well as recommend it to my friends for their stay there.

Good ammenities and facities. Accessible to good food, recreation and relaxation in vicinity. Rooms are very tastefully furnished and comfortable. Within the property there are award winning restaurants, and cosy lounge with live entertainment in the evening. Great for a relaxing break from work. aircon was not working very well. Furama has two wings and both have been recently refurbished. The stay starts with a warm and friendly reception. Checkin is quick and efficient. Rooms are comfortable and well provisioned with all the modern amenities which makes for a relaxing break. Within the property are good restuarants, coffee house and a very cosy bar set against a landscaped waterfall garden which makes sundowners a very relaxing experience. Kintamani is an award winning Indonesian restaurant.
Restaurant Tip : Kintamani Indonesian Restaurant within the building.
Xin Chinese restaurant across the street.
Pubs and discos within minutes.

Polite Staff, free upgrades! No bathtub even in clubroom.. Food was quite ex.. Pleasant stay over weekend.. The counter staff automatically checked me into a club room so was quite pleased about that. The bed was really huge like a super king size , it fitted a family of four snugly.. We did not even have to push for our sleeping space in bed. Only thing was that it costs us $30 over dollars for a plate of curry chicken for in-room dining, was quite heart pain.. But overall experience in this hotel was still very good. Highly recommended!!

Location - close to funky suburb of Tiong Bahru and nightclubs in Singapore Will pay twice for the internet if you use more than one compute at different times using same wall plug! No wireless! Old hotel chinese style with overpriced everything. The staff were friendly. I would not stay here again, but then again I am not a big fan of big hotels with small rooms. The rooms smelt a bit stale. The TV did not have much except Sport. This place was designed for male business travellers and mainland chinese tourists.
Restaurant Tip : Great local style restaurants in Tiong Bahru are a must try!

Affordable rates. Rooms are quite large. The hotel's staff is nice and kind. Nearby is Clarke Quay. Five minute walk and a nice place to spend evenings. Customer service could be better. The rooms need new interior design...and the carpet of the corridor need to be changed too or cleaned because really smells. No free Wifi. The staff was friendly but I would not stay here again. The rooms smelt a bit stale. This place is designed for travelers and mainland chinese tourists.

Big hotel nice room decor. None smoking hotel. Location not on riverfront but in incove you need to take taxi to and from. None smoking hotel Hotel staff was excellent very informative about area and surrounding activities. Hotel has two resteraunts with first class food service which offer an all day buffe option one of my few trips I ate mainly at the hotel the food was so well prepared. It also has a nice sitting lounge for enjoying evening drinks or just listening to the live performance. Over all I was very pleased with my stay only drawback is location but easy to get taxi in singapore I like to walk but couldn't find Mrt station close by.
