Reasonable prices.
Good staff and services.
Clean and trendy rooms.
Good facilities (nice and big swimming pool).
Location is a bit far away from shopping and dining. There's not much happening within walking distance.
I am actually very happy with my stay (1st time) at Furama Riverfront. Although the location is not centered but there is a shopping mall called "The great world" within walking distance and you can do a bit shopping and there are some restaurants there too. The room is very nice and clean. It's been reconditioned very well. The staff are all nice and friendly. I will definitely stay there again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Tiong Bahru is a must go place. Only about 3 minutes by cab and lots of traditional food to eat on the 2nd floor.

Central Location to entertainment
Hotel location little hidden from the main road
Overall would stay there again.
Their Superior rooms are bigger that most hotel walking distance to Zouk, the dance club, but one needs to take a taxi to Clarke Quay.
Quality of food from Room Service is competent and prices reasonable.
Unfortunately no coffee shops within walking distanece for local fare.
Good place if you want a hotel without too much "buzz"

Nice location as it is located nearby the clubs and bars, suitable for those who enjoy nightlife.
Good-looking frontline staff.
1. Very far from public transport. If you wish to walk to the MRT or bus, it is quite a long distance.
2. The hotel did not even provide complementary water for guests.
When being asked about the bottled water, the staff simply said "You can drink from the tap in the bathroom because Singapore water is drinkable". Staying in Singapore for 7 years, I understand that fact that Singapore water is quite clean but no one can promise that the water pipe is clean. Even my friends, who are Singaporean, never drink tap water. I want clean water, not tap water please.
Other than the above incident and if the hotel can rectify this issue, I think the hotel is worth a stay. The good location can be compensated for the long distance to public transport.
Hotel Feature Tip : The hotel charges very high for a bottle of mineral water. You can drink the water provided in the room first and walk about 100m from the hotel to buy a replacement which costs you much less.

room size, central location, PRICE, staff
Location (explained in review), price of alcohol and breakfast and pretty much everything else besides the price of the room through Agoda.
I've stayed at this hotel twice in the past. I stayed in a superior room and was charged through AGODA. The room would have costed 4 times that price if I went directly to the hotel. I was also upgraded upon arrival so I had a very nice size room. When I arrived the rooms had old small CRT's, but they have upgraded to samsung LCD's. They have a decent pool on the 5th floor, but it lacks a hot tub. As far as food? I did not eat there because breakfast was 28 singapore dollars per person when I could walk down the street and find something for a lot cheaper. The location is very central to everything, but at the same time there isn't much within walking distance so expect to be paying for a taxi. Orchard is within 5 minutes. I highly recommend this hotel especially for the price through Agoda. You are not going to find a better hotel in singapore at the price.
Nightlife Tip : Stop by Clarke Quay if you want to eat and drink. A lot of night clubs and bars plus restaurants in that area.

Location, ease of obtaining transportaion, customer service
This was a very pleasent stay, the staff was courteous and were knowledgeable about the surrounding area. I lodged here for two nights and didn't want to leave, although this hotel may need a little makeover and touch up paint here and there it more than makes up for it in comfort. They have 24 hour room service, a bar/lounge on the first floor as well as a pool table to help you unwind from a long day of doing nothing. I did notice there were other shops and a spa located within the hotel as well. This hotel definitely exceeded my expectations at the rates for which I paid, I would stay here again when visiting Singapore. I hope they keep up the good work.
Nightlife Tip : Close to Clark Quay the main nightlife spot...

Beautiful environment, colonial style fixtures. Efficient and friendly staff.
Overall a very pleasant stay because we got an upgraded room. With the higher floor, bathrobe and comfortable beds, we are all very satified. There were shuttle bus going to orchid road and china town everyhour from morning to evening around 8:30pm and you have to check the schedule to take advantage with it. The waterfall lounge was very charming with the singers playing the 80' music. Everyone was very helpful and if there is something they have to get back to you, they would.

Value for money - Rooms are new, clean and with good view.
Room service menu to improvise.
Value for money - rooms are clean and new with good view. The hotel staff at the reception counter are friendly and polite with efficient service and always receive their guests with a big smiles. I like this hotel and will stay in this hotel again. I will strongly recommend others to stay here too. I suggest the room service menu to be improvised with more varieties.
Restaurant Tip : There are many restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, hawker centre etc., near to the hotel. Very convenient for meals. Besides, China Town is only 5-10 minutes drive away.

This hotel is accessible and just a short drive/ride to the city center. Rooms are clean and spacious. Very efficient staff.
So far, I didn't see anything negative yet.
When I arrived at the hotel, my accommodation was upgraded since my requests made during the booking were not available. This was my third stay at the hotel. The frontline officers are excellent, hospitable, and very efficient. They never ran out of smiles which gave me a personalized attention. I will surely be back.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There are bus stops nearby. The MRT station is a walking distance from the hotel. The city center is just a few minutes away.

Location, Price for room, Staff, Bar, Swimming Pool, Weigh Training Room
Location, price of Alcohol, food and chinese escorts
Originally I was not going to expect much from this Hotel since I paid less than 60 USD per night. However, once I arrive my room was upgraded to a Superior room which was worth the price. I brought my parents along and the staff was kind enough to give us linking rooms. The rooms were nice, however I was surprised to find a small CRT television. On the 5th Floor they have a nice pool, but it lacks a hot tub. They also have a weight training room equipped with some treadmills. As far as food goes, I did not eat here because breakfast was 28 USD per person which is more then half of what I paid for my room. The biggest pro is also a con for the hotel...the location. It is central to everything so you can access Sentosa Island, Clark Quay, and Orchard within minutes, however none of those places are within walking distance. About a 10 minute walk away is Great World Shopping Center which has a nice food court so I ate there pretty much everyday. Outside of the hotel there is a night club that is packed every night with exotic cars and beautiful women, but apparently a Taxi driver told me that drinking their would cost him his entire month's salary. I also didn't like being bothered by men outside asking me which room I stayed in so they can send a chinese escort/prostitute to my room every night I was there.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Be sure to remember the name "Apollo Hotel" or at least some landmarks like the Holiday Inn or Miramar Hotel. Some taxi drivers did not recognize the name Furuma Riverfront hotel because apparently the name changed from Apollo.

Friendly staff all round from check-in till check out. Well-appointed rooms with prompt and responsive service. Close to attractions: Chinatown, Clarke Quay Entertainment area, Shopping at Great World City.
Train station a trifle far away.
From the moment I check-in, the counter staff were very friendly and attentive. Makes me feel so welcome and it felt more like a welcome to a friend's home. Upgraded room was given, even though I had requested for early checkin. The food at Kintamani Indonesian restaurant was just exquisite. Certainly a place I'd go back to again and again.
Nightlife Tip : Check out the watering holes and party venues at Clarke Quay across the street.

Generousity of the hotel management.
Clean & Worth the price.
Many unopened shop, not near to mrt station.
Overall i would recommend this hotel to anyone fo staying. Especially the generousity of the hotel management staff for upgrading my room when i request for connecting adjacent room. Also the room is very spacious, clean & well worth the price for what i'm paying. Very near to riverwalk opposite the hotel as well.
Restaurant Tip : there's a famous bah kut teh retaurant & pub nearby walking distance

Some rooms in need of an upgrade.
Crazy exchange rates...Do it elsewhere!!!
Overall you get what you pay for. Basically the higher the floor the better the quality of room. Try and avoid any rooms overlooking the pool they are in need of a refit.(at least ours was).Could not complain about front of house although we did not eat on the premises. Night time philipino band was amusing as was the impromptu Chinese line dancing..(well l hope it was impromptu). Overall can not complain. You get what you pay for.
Hotel Feature Tip : Don't use currency exchange unless you have to...Sadly l had to..

Staff is friendly, hotel is clean and comfortable.
The staff is friendly and helpful. I am quite happy and impressed when we were treated for free dinner buffet as our room was not ready to be occupied upon check-in. This is perfectly good when we have kids traveling with. The hotel had considered this as we would not waste time to hunt for food.
