I stayed for three nights during the F1 week. It was a pleasant night. For the first night, I was booked to a room which had a small window. I've requested to change the room, and I was booked to another room which is on the corner+ two big windows.
staff are very polite. amenities are good.

The very moment I entered the hotel, I felt the homely touch. The front desk officers were helpful and cheerful. They were also courteous and clear in giving information as well as asking thereof. They have very good English speaking skills. It is always with these officers that customers feel appreciated and served well. Regarding the facilities of the hotel, this hotel is very good. In terms of accessibility like if you want to see the city, buses are just nearby. However, the OUTRAM MRT Station is quite far from the hotel. No other MRT station nearby.
Worth the money spent in this beautiful hotel. Front Desk Officers are very helpful and cheerful. Accessible by bus if you want to go around the city.
Be sure to check whether toiletries are replaced or refilled. If only the gym could be used till 11:00...

I enjoyed my stay at the Furama Riverside hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a good sized pool and a gym. It is well located with the main shopping areas and bars close by. The only thing that I didn't enjoy was the air conditioning which made it too cold. My friend got ill from the blasts of cold air. Apart from that I would definitely stay there again but I would have to bring a cardigan with me.
Nice clean room, enjoyed the pool and breakfast was good. It was close to the main shopping areas and bars.
There wasn't much to dislike the only thing was that the air conditioning was on a very low temperature and I felt cold inside eventhough it was +30C outside. My friend fell ill with the blasts of cold air.

I would have preferred to have gone to a hotel located within the Orchard - Bencoolen area if not for the lack of vacancies, but this hotel was very accommodating and its staff extremely helpful and pleasant. If you are a first-timer in the area, you might not want to explore the immediate area on foot lest you waste time walking to outram station (10-15 minute walk) or waiting for the bus (I didn't even try). Take a cab to Orchard or Bugis then spend your energy exploring those shopping areas.
- Shopping Tip : 2-3 minutes away from Wisma Atria and Takashimaya SC via cab without traffic. Just make sure the cab driver doesn't take you for a ride. Had a bad experience with one; we didn't believe his claim that it would be 20 minutes so he dropped us off at some obscure location.

For the price, there are much better options in Singapore. I would definitely pay a little extra and stay at the Pan Pacific, or a little less and stay at the Traders.
