The design attention with twist idea make hotel subtley unique.
Curtain in bedroom can't conceal natural light soif u r not morning-person and hv light sleep, this is very annoying unless u put on eye cover.
Gym is great to typical hotel standard.
Swimming pool has panoramic view of neighbor building.
superior room is bright and mostly spacious but I always get Twin bed.
Glazzhaus come in different configuration and size as Architect set diagonal floor plan in Square building foot print, room 651 is small while room 654 is spacious.
Restaurant Tip : Riverfront breezy restuarant and bar is good for hangout anytime of the day, Lay down (and fall to sleep) on long sofa on weekend afternoon make me feel like home.

Room was well designed, young and cheerful staff
Transport was lacking, room a bit small
The riverside restaurant pub was very well thought out and managed -- the staff were very nice and friendly. They were helpful in recommending the right drinks.
The downside is the side of the room.
Nightlife Tip : Riverside was great !

The location was near alot of high-end restaurants, the room was clean, the staff was efficient and polite.
The room that we were in was rather small, the view was facing buildings instead of the river.
The hotel on the whole was simple and met the requirements of being clean and quiet. Actually we got the room to celebrate a friend's birthday, and ended up staying at the room most of time, as the bed was rather comfortable. Also, the quiet reading corner just right outside the room was interesting and comfortable. The route to reach the hotel was not as simple as it seems, it took me about an hour to walk from Clarke Quay MRT station to the hotel.
Restaurant Tip : Do try to have breakfast by the river. There are many cafes outside the hotel that provide unique breakfast or brunch.

Very classy and stylish - good value for the money. Nice amenities and friendly staff
Prior to arrival, there was a snafu in trying to guarantee that the room would have two single beds at no charge. However, that was quickly resolved upon check-in.
The hotel was difficult to find - mainly because the people we asked had no idea where Nanson Road was. Once we located it, it was a fairly quick walk to the Clarke Quay MRT station.
As is typical in Singapore, the hotel was immaculate and the staff provided excellent service.
Nightlife Tip : Location is very near to the Clarke Quay/Riverfront area, which has great evening dining and a large choice of bars.

I like the whole concept and artsy contemporary design of this hotel. Never failed to bring me a smile every morning staying here and is close to Robertson Square and Clarke Quay. The best place to unwind, nearby.
I wouldn't really take it as a disadvantage, maybe in future I will pile on more clothes because the air-conditioning was so good, I came home with a flu.
I would strongly encourage my friends to stay here and spend at least 1 night at the luxury concept room because each of the room is different from another. Therefore, pick and select your room that suits your mood and have a fantastic stay in Gallery Hotel! I will defintely return and book myself in Gallery Hotel.
Nightlife Tip : You have Clarke Quay and Robertson Square just round the corner. You can literally walk yourself back to the hotel when you are tired!

the design/look of the room, bathroom makes up for the size of it..
location is perfect if you don't want the busy city feel..
bathroom lighting can be brighter i guess.. i know it's part of the feel but yea.. some things you just cant compromise...
2 elevators to get to your floor can be a bit of a hassle...
this is a perfect place to stay in if you want to just chill. there are a lot of restaurants, bars nearby that you can hang out and just be steady. the ordinary rooms are a bit small but the design of the room makes up for it big time. this is my second time to stay in this hotel and i frequent singapore so if i just want a relaxing, away from the busy city feel, i'm sure i'll be staying here again in the future...

Services, staff, bedroom & bathroom always clean & fresh, peaceful atmosphere.
No welcome drink, no welcome fruits.
I and my kids enjoyed very much staying in Gallery Hotel when we spent my kids' holidays in Singapore. That's why I decided to stay in the Gallery Hotel during my last medical trip. I like this hotel because the atmosphere is very peaceful, quite and safe even though we have to spent lots of money for the taxis to get this hotel, especially to & from Orchard Road to do shopping. But it's ok for me as long as I get very good service from all of the hotel staff and I can sleep well in the bedroom.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : It's lovely experience if you have enough time to enjoy walking a long the riverside. The view and feeling is awesome.

Nicely situated close to the river, near cafes and restaurants, yet quiet and peaceful.
Only one elevator was working during our stay, making getting up or down from the room a little long. Our first room had a bad mildew/damp problem; the next day we were moved swiftly to another (very satisfactory) room.
This is an interesting hotel concept, very modern and trendy in a good central location close to the river, with a choice of nice eating establishments just beneath / within short walking distance. Despite the minimal/urban flavor it still has the traditional comforts, including nice amenities and fairly comfy rooms. Still the beds (2 singles, not by choice but by booking slip) were a little bit small (short/narrow) and the bathroom was a little bit crowded and not overly functional. The pool and gym are interesting although take some maneuvering to get to. The staff is pleasant. We would definitely stay here again, although would be sure to request a double room.

clean. quiet. comfortable mattress. Not that close to public transportation and a bit difficult to get a cab. interior design is very stylist and fancy. free internet provided but breakfast is not included. nice swimming pool. there is a small and shallow one for beginning and a deeper one for others. it is a bit small, but still nice. gym is a bit far but has lots of equipments. there are a few restaurants in the premise. food are nice. bathroom is a funky as it can be seen from the living room, so it's ok for couples but not quite for friend or family

sexy and stylish, clean and bright
room is spacious enough
perforated metal sheet on building facade provides permanent visual privacy from opposite mid-rise residential but it feels like cage and dizzy try to look through perforated wall.
Sofa is mssing despite space allowed between bed and window.
Hotel is quite sexy, bright, clean, with indutrial twist here and there, especially toilet and wardrobe.
Room Master control panel above side table is pretty smart and convenient.
Gym and swimming pool are great but gym close quite early especially weekend.
Restaurant Tip : open-air restaurant and bar along river are all great, very popular among expat on weekend. I lay down their all afternoon, very comfortable.

Design, cleanliness, service, pool, TV
Could go futher on the design theme
We had a very enjoyable stay, although it was only one night. The roof top pool and the flat screen TV were nice, and the breakfast was really ok. The staff is very friendly. We did encounter some problems with the safe box in the room, but the box was exchanged within 15 minutes, which shows their great level of service.
Shopping Tip : Good shopping on Orchard Road.

Very artsy. Close to Clarke Quay. A few minutes walk to the bus station. Good reasonably-priced buffet breakfast with very accommodating restaurant staff.
Bed room is small. The sink is made of aluminum metal and it felt like you were in the toilet of the bathroom. There were cables hanging by the ceiling, I guess to give it the same look and feel of a gallery.
I requested a king size, non-smoking room at the time I made my reservations. Upon check-in, the front desk person did not even have a record of my request. The only king size bedroom that was offered was in a smoking-floor. When you leave the elevator, the smell of smoke was over-powering. In other hotels, smoking was only allowed in the bed rooms, here smoking was allowed in the area by the elevators; and sure enough we saw people puffing away in that area. There were even two big buckets of sand where smokers can extinquish their cigarrettes hanging by the elevators. As I was checking in ahead of my wife, the front desk person agreed to my request to hold another room in the hotel with two twin beds in a non-smoking floor in case my wife would not be able to stand the smell of cigarrette smoke. Well, we thought since it was only one day we would be able to tolerate it. Also, housekeeping brought me some liquid air freshener. Out of about six floors, only one floor is designated a smoking floor. Why not just make it a totally non-smoking hotel?

-Great location, very quiet but jus seconds away from great restaurants and 10 minute walk to Clarke Quay
-Friendly hotel staff members
-Hip minimalist design, great if you often visit Singapore and sick of the same old 'grand design'
needs repair and maybe repainting (just a bit)
I go to Singapore at least 3 times a year, and usually stay at Hotels aroun Orchard Road area. This time me and my wife decided to stay at a different area and a different kind of Hotel. We made the right choice by staying at The Gallery Hotel, cause it made our trip to Singapore not like it's always been, a different environment, different kind of hotel (from the majority of hotels in Sing) and great restaurants so near to the hotel. We will definitely come back.
Restaurant Tip : - Brasserie Wolf (French)
- Jumbo Seafood Restaurant (Singapore Chili Crab) @Clarke Quay

Among the excellent features of the hotel are the kind and responsive management and staff. Also location is good for tourists.
Some people may wonder why elevator system prevents guests from going directly to their floor, rather than changing elevators on 4th floor. Perhaps two systems better.
Although Singapore is known to be a very formal city, the relaxed atmosphere at the Gallery Hotel makes everyone welcome. After arriving formalities are minimal and very rapidly guests are checked-in and arrive at their rooms. By passing the restaurant, guests can see the ease and convenience of buffet lunches and dinner with violinist. Rooms are large and comfortable -- air conditioning can be set for cooler overnight if one prefers. All in all, this is an ideal location for just a short stay or mwek or more.
