Good location with many food outlets around the hotel. Also very convenient base to go to orchard without living among the hustle and bustle of orchard.

Cleanliness and Service. We found dried blood on the phone so housekeeping and their supervisors really need to take more care. Service staff need to be re-trained. For the price that they are charging the staff needs to be proactive, smile, and be more enthusiastic.

The price that we received for Agoda befits the hotel which I would say is 3 stars. There were no wow factors. Service was flat and the rooms were fine. I wouldn't pay the rack rate though because you can find much nicer places for that rate. Biggest plus was the hotel gave us a free upgrade when we found blood on the phone in our room. We didn't want to know where it came from, or what happened, we just wanted to get out.

Travel tip : Many good restaurants are near the hotel such as Le Bouchon for steak or the Book End Cafe for breakfast.

Clean rooms, nice design, flatscreen TV, pool.

Two elevators to get to the room. Kingsize room is apparently more expensive than a twin.

Robertson Quai is a far from the next MRT station (Clarke Quai) but in a nice quarter with good restaurants and some clubs. The rooms are clean and trendy. Staff is nice. Amenities are ok. Pool is small but cool.

little bit hard to access...

The creative environment inspires you to enjoy the ease and excitement of a truly unique designer hotel. Situated in the heart of the trendy Robertson Quay and Mohamad Sultan entertainment district, Gallery Hotel is perched on the bank of the Singapore River – a delightful waterfront experience.

Roof-top pool is divine as is the fascia of this hotel.

Staff were a bit unhelpful, on arrival we found that our room was a twin room instead of double and staff were not prepared to make our room up as a double.

Overall The Gallery offered a great stay. Rooms were small, but comfortable. Location was a little out of the way but not too far out - a lovely walk down Robertson Key into town. Fascia of the hotel is funky and best seen at night - particularly from the roof top pool. I would recommend The Gallery has a reasonably valued (compared to five star chain hotels) high-end stay.

Beautiful stylish building, not far from nice hang-out place, Free internat access

A bit small room, Check in process is longer than expected

A small beautiful hotel with stylish building, a glass-wall swimming pool. The room is a bit small but comfortable with free internat access (modem). The process of checkin was longer than expected but other staffs were very nice (esp. housekeeper). Even the hotel was situated away from MRT station but was easy to reach by bus. The restaurant near thehotel was good taste with reasinable price.

Restaurant Tip : The reataurant near hotel (quayside) had a set menu with good taste and reasonable price

Central location Nice, quiet surroundings Great hotel design Clean, functional rooms Good friendly service Good spa facilties 24hr bar/pub

No direct lift to the rooms Ridiculously cold a/c on 4th floor a little further from the main clarke quay mrt/area

This is a great art decor boutique hotel with simple yet very functional rooms. While the Gallery Hotel is still a little walk away from the main pub/restaurant & MRT station, it is in the quieter end of Clarke with good cafes (Boomerang & Book Cafe) that allows guests to access the amenities of Clarke Quay without the loud thumping vibrance of the quayside & Mhd Sultan nightlife. Wonder why you can't find your room number? The answer is right at your feet....

Restaurant Tip : Try the Book Cafe nearby for good coffee and a decent bite. Free wifi is always a plus.

Free internet access 24 hours a day in lobby

A bit far from public transportation, but within walking distance of hot spots.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights in the least expensive room category. Very modern minimalist design in the room, bathroom is nice with lots of glass. The shower is a bit slippery though and ours tended to drain slowly. Good amenities and the pool is fun with its see-through walls; the view from the pool is not that great unfortunately. Breakfast buffet was ok. Overall, a good experience.

Good room size, internet provided free of charge, comfortable bed and pillows which for a westerner was refreshing to experience after the rock hard Asian preferences; the location near Robertson Quay is a good one too.

Breakfast was not included in the Agoda rate. The hotel seems to be popularized by tour groups and as such in not a top of the line business hotel.

I found the experience at The Gallery to be overall great! The location, room, and amenities that it offered at the price point were all above average for Singapore. The gym is excellent, but the rooftop pool, while funky, is small. There are plenty of restaurants and F & B outlets within walking distance, and the lively night scene of Clark Quay is also within a short walk away. Overall, a very good, new hotel that will take business away from the bigger named properties...at the current prices. Let's hope that they don't raise the rates.

Nightlife Tip : Within an easy walk to the night scene of Clark Quay.

Great venue and value for money - even the internet is free.

Breakfast is a bit limited in choce, suggest you dine out :-) The rooms are a bit small and the walls thin so you can sometimes hear quite a bit of noise

We have stayed at this hotel many times and would stay more frequently but its usually difficult to book a room. There is a good fitness centre you can use which is included in the room charge. On the downside the swimming pool is one of the smallest of any hotel I have visited, its ok for a quick cool down but useless for swimming. The hotel is located by the river so you can easily have a good stroll and relax. There are many restaurants near by which are very good.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : A stroll along the river is very enjoyable, lots to see and do day and night!

The Hotel interior is real modern ,clean and has nice services. It's perfect for nightlife on Friday, dinner at Clark Quay.

The MRT station is a bit far from the hotel.

It's a perfect place if you are interested in nightlife at Clark Quay. The interior is real modern, swimming pool is nice, separated child and adult, my daughter really enjoyed it there. But it's a bit far from MRT Clark Quay, I can walk but it wasted my time (about 25min) to get there. There is an Italian and Japanese restaurants next to the hotel that was cheap and delicious. The bathroom is quite small but nice.

The building.

The breakfast.

The gallery hotel has a very good location: on a quiet neighborhood, but at a walking distance to Clark Quay. The design of the building and the decoration are very interesting. The bedrooms can, sometimes, be a bit small, but you can find everything a four star hotel has to offer. There are several restaurants inside the building and in the neighborhood.

Staff, location in relation to restaurants, cleanliness and style of room.

Toilet leaked, size of room, proximity to public transport.

We searched for some time to find a decent, reasonably priced hotel in Singapore for our 5-day stay. We finally settled on the Gallery Hotel and were happy with our choice. We arrive to a friendly, helpful staff. The room was very clean and neat but a bit small as was the bathroom but it worked out fine for us (2 adults and 2 small children, ages 3 and 5). The hotel was a bit funky and fun and the pool looked inviting, although we did not get a chance to use it. The down side was that we were not as close to public transportation as we had hoped but easily found taxis or walked the distance to the closest station. The upside of the location was the number of restaurants and small convenience shops with in 5-10 minutes of the hotel. The range of food was incredible and many restaurants were right located near the river. In fact, we had breakfast every morning directly across the street at a wonderful little bakery. I would recommend the Gallery Hotel and hope to stay there again in the future.

Restaurant Tip : The hotel restaurants were a big pricey and uninspiring but there are loads of nice restaurants within a 2-10 minute walk of the hotel along the riverside.
